#241 Re: The Sunset Strip » Best films of the 1970s » 151 weeks ago
70s was very experimental. Some great movies but also many that didn't quite work. Stuff like Taxi Driver and McCabe & Mrs Miller are okay, just not making the cut I think. Network I used to love, now it feels a bit dated. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest is undoubtedly great, yet I don't feel like including it. Perhaps the social commentary style is no longer to my liking, despite the great script and acting. It's depressing and it seems I no longer care for that.
I'm not able to make a full 10.
Star Wars
Alien
Godfather
Godfather II
Halloween
THX 1138
Carrie
American Graffiti

One of my absolute favorites:

Probably they'll throw her some money and that's the end of it. The band isn't relevant enough for the media to take a big interest.
It would be nice to see the leeches out, but I don't think Axl is willing to do that.

Why no criminal complaint against Fernando?
Edit: or is there? Have any criminal charges been filed against Fernando? I’m seriously just asking. If you’re being sexually harassed why not go to police? Is it because it’s harassment and that should be handled by an hr entity? Which in her complaint states gnr is devoid of?
Money I'm guessing.

He's got the right name. It really feels like George Costanza somehow managed to land a producer gig by lying through his teeth.

The leader of the Communist Party in my country was just arrested for numerous shoplifting incidents.

CD is the only album I can think of where every track sound worse than the demos. The Blues used to be a great song, a fan favorite across the board, and Madagascar too, used to be a huge song. Both were ruined on Chinese Democracy.
2 hour old coffee is what this album feels like.
