Gilby, who doesn’t even feature on the song, said he did it while they were on tour? Somehow I don’t think so Gilby…

Spaghetti Incident came out November 1993, so even though the band had stopped touring for UYI, I didn’t think it was the end for the band. And I still think it’s a damn shame we didn’t get an album of originals from that UYI tour lineup.

Finally saw Top Gun: Maverick last night and thought it was awesome.
Perfect mix of nostalgia, action, suspense and emotion. Those jet fighter scenes on the big screen were amazing.

I think Phil spoke badly about him and Dime in several instances after Pantera split, some pretty nasty shit too. And then Dime got shot, and Vinnie held onto that anger for the things he’d said
#255 Re: Guns N' Roses » Could the first Snakepit album have been a good record with Axl / Duff » 166 weeks ago
Absolutely it could have. But who’s word do we believe on the matter?
According to Axl, Slash wouldn’t budge on changing any of the songs to make it a more collaborative effort.
And according to Slash, Axl didn’t like any of the songs when he first presented them to Axl.
As much as love Slash, I think he had just as big an ego as Axl did back then, and didn’t want to compromise any of his material either.

This band (Axl) is all about missed opportunities. This isn’t surprising at all.

That’s kinda bizarre in itself that he acknowledges vocal issues, when he sang at this show in a lower range due to issues, that it actually sounded better.
I think he owes us an apology for the years of singing Mickey…

London night one was a shortened set due to sound issues and starting late.
London night 2 was even shorter, (though still 18 songs), reportedly because Axl says he was having issues with his voice.
He sang most of the show in lower register, which for the most part sounded pretty good according to those that were there.
And there are varying reports about Axl having some anxiety issues due to his vocal problems etc.
I’m curious to see how this plays out….
I guess we’ll find out at the next show.
#259 Re: Guns N' Roses » What is your favorite song on CD? » 168 weeks ago
Silkworms might have accidentally turned it into a double A side if it can sneak its way on to a club chart and/or become a hit on the rave scene.
Not sure if you’re being serious or not, but literally LOL’d at that.
That seems to go along with you saying that Melissa is their secret weapon to bring them to a new audience, when they won’t give two shits about her or these old rock guys.

They debuted Street of Dreams at their most recent show. Robins solo part was oddly split between Slash and Fortus.
