Man, I'm glad that guy I've never heard of, from a band I could not begin to pick out because I don't know that I've ever heard one song from them, approves of what Axl does - as long as Axl follows this guy's rules.  WTF?  I realize this guy is professional musician and I have heard that band's name before, but dude, you're talking about an absolute god in your own profession - its absurd for you to even say anything more than "yes" or "no."

2011 started out the worst he has ever sounded.  I saw them twice later in 2011 and he was on fire.  For it to start out at the point he seems at now, which is at LEAST as good as he ever was in 13/14, I'd say is a good sign of things to come.

Man, I certainly empathize with all of the above.  I always tell myself that if life can fuck up in the blink of an eye as it does, all that means is that life can change in either direction very quickly without warning, so it can and does turn around at some point.  I know between GN'R news I've had a hellaciously emotional and shitty day, BUT there's GN'R news and there's a turnaround coming somewhere.  If Axl and Slash can be sharing a stage tonight, there's hope for us all.
