This is how you reach people today . It’s almost like they are stuck in the 20th century.
They do have both a publicist (they're working with a PR company called the Orel Company) and a separate social media team.
But if the emails found in the court documents for the Kat Benzova case are an indication or a glimpse of how this works, they have to run everything with Fernando first, so they can't do anything without his permission.
It’s just sad that these people who have ZERO experience in managing a big name rock band are running this into the ground.
And they blackmailed their way into this spot too.

Neither as well for me. Re recorded CD just sounds stale because we’ve already heard it in various stages of completion during that time frame (late 90s-2000s).
And lol at the six years to complete an album bs. There is no reason why any band now should take that long to complete one album.

They have becoming a touring band plain and simple , with zero indication that they plan on recording new music. I’ve come to this realization and it doesn’t bother me.
But for others it doesn’t help that Slash and Duff also drop (bullshit) hints that they plan to release new music soon.
On the production stuff, that’s on Axl. He keeps on using Caram as the producer for these songs.

It also turned out that he had 15-20 songs that were fully fleshed out songs . And that 3 discs worth of material that we heard about for years in the late 2000s was total bullshit.
I almost wish he weren’t so fucking lazy and would work on these (or any new songs) w/ Slash and Duff.
This is probably the most interesting one in terms of music and strong vocals. Still think the lyrics and chorus need to be tightened up but that’s nitpicking.

I’ve bought all 6 new song on iTunes but I haven’t bothered with any of these physical releases. I’m happy to fork over $15 for a full length CD or whatever they cost these days.
this is one area where I would just go digital and not bother with the disc/LP. It’s a lot easier for me to just listen to it via ITunes (or whaterver digital music service) especially since the sound quality is similar.

Netflix just bought Warner Bros (which includes HBO and HBO Max). Another nail in the coffin of the theater going experience, cinema and probably physical media.
They have already indicated that they will shorten the window that new movies will be shown in the theater /cinena.
oh your Netflix rates are probably going to increase because of this.
Two of the major film companies (MGM and now Warner Bros) are owned by “streamers” now (Amazon and Netflix). We never knew how good we had it (70s-mid 2000s) in terms of movies.
I kind of get sad when I watch these older movies and the company that made them is now defunct (like Tri-Star pictures) or owned by a media conglomerate (Universal now a Comcast company)

I think the comparison to Catcher is very good (to a point). The leaks with Brian May on sound both sound crisp and uncluttered, and the released versions sound over cooked, cluttered and somehow lifeless. But Catcher at least is not ruined by a cripplingly loud bass stem that buries everything else.
You know I never really thought that the Catcher (version that got released on CD) was totally inferior to the leak. Yeah, I don’t care for the cut and pasted Bumblefoot guitar parts but fundamentally the song is similar enough to the leak (maybe 60-70%) that you can enjoy it and be ok with it.
It’s not the case with Atlas which sounds like a sonic mess with the loud bass mixed in.
