#291 Re: The Sunset Strip » The "Iron Maiden" Thread » 901 weeks ago

That was one of the best shows I've EVER seen.  The atmosphere was phenomenal and the band sounded great.  They even took a break so we could all sing happy birthday to Nicko.  Some stupid e-tarded chick behind me kept hitting her head on my shoulder when she was headbanging though.  I thought it was funny, but she hit her head pretty hard one time and I think she'll feel it tomorrow.  All in all, fantastic show.  If anyone's thinking about seeing Maiden, I'd suggest you see them on this tour.  They're playing all the classics.

what a game! holy shit

the end sucked though 17

I almost got to watch a whole game anyways even though I missed regulation because of Halen, lol.

Anyways, yeah. Bad ending. Oh well, I firmly believe this series will end in game 6.

It'll go to game 7.  Too much money on the line for all concerned to let this end tonight... 16

Why is it that people never have anything really descriptive to say about what they've heard?  Bah, who cares anyway?  Opinions aren't worth much if we can't judge for ourselves.

I really hope he is still in the band, but come on people, think about it rationally. Why would he leave the band and join another huge band if gnr were about to do something big like tour and/or release an album. it makes no sense at all to say he is just taking a leave of absence. plus, if he was still in, why wouldnt the camp just say he is taking a breather? because he isnt. the guy got fed up and left. its really that simple. and for those that try to cover it up (i.e. /backslash) it a joke. its pretty condescending also. how dumb do some people think the average gnr fan is? its also pathetic the way some speak to the masses that has nothing to do with the band and comes off as though he is in the band. again, i hope robin is still in, but common sense must lead one to only one sensible conclusion that he has left.

Hey, what did I do?

wasnt he in rehab last year too?

I think he had surgery (cancer maybe?) or something, but I don't remember rehab.  This is a big deal for someone who's been clean so long.

^That's a pretty cool story.  I happened to meet half the Latvian national hockey team in Halifax airport by accident a couple of weeks ago, but this is so much cooler!

I thought the same thing; only without the moles.

#300 Re: The Garden » What are you eating? » 904 weeks ago

I've been eating well since I came out to visit my parents.  My sister and I ordered a pizza Friday.  Saturday, we had a big BBQ with steak and pork chops and all the fixins.  Yesterday was turkey dinner and today was beef stew.  No idea what's on the menu tomorrow (hope it's mac and cheese!!), but after that I'm headed back to my apartment and have to cook for myself...
