Yes and how many random attacks does Norway have? Please. We are armed to the max here, millions of guns, yet we can't stop these endless attacks. The right wing shitheads answer to this is "more guns" and no regulation. Idiots!
Not many, but we have a lot of guns. In Switzerland every male keeps a fully automatic at home. How many attacks do they have?
We have a lot of home invasions though.
Again, we have people getting shot that are surrounded my highly trained men with guns. Ronald Reagan, surrounded by Secret Service men was still shot. Explain to me how arming everybody makes a difference?
Giffords was shot in public in one of the most pro gun states of this country. There is no doubt that people at that event were packing heat, yet some how nobody was able to defend her. Why is this?
Because people are not super heroes. You make it sound like Loughner is still out there killing people. No, he got body tackled pretty fast by some people without guns.
How many does the Dimebag killer take with him if there aren't armed men not far from the scene? As to why it doesn't happen more often, well gee, these killers aren't that stupid. They at least have the sense to attack people in no gun zones like schools, churches and summer camps. Despite how much some of these dudes probably hate cops you are not going to see a police station assault any time soon for a reason.
Restricting guns only takes them out of the hands of regular citizens. If I really want one it's really just a matter of having a few hundred bucks or an active imagination. Of course a society is not going to be able to stop crazies from popping up. People die, it's the nature of things. There's been more people killed in cars just since this story broke. It's the prize you pay for the larger good.

You wouldn't say that shit if your kid didn't come home from school, I can guarantee your ass that right now.
It's a good thing then we don't let people in emotional shock write laws.
Anyway, gun control clearly works:

Killing with a gun is easy. It's even easier when nobody else has one.
#3173 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Slash Mention on Howard Stern » 700 weeks ago
So recapping....
Slash is a cunt for not wanting to answer questions about Axl in the press.
But when Slash wants a reunion - he's a cunt because he can't expect Axl to forgive him when he keeps talking shit about him in the press.
Delusional for thinking a major show wasn't going to ask that.
He doesn't have to talk shit.
Two faced and bold faced for offering a clearly false apology.
#3174 Re: The Garden » Nurse commits suicide after royal prank call » 700 weeks ago
I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at. Are you saying the suicide itself is made up or the story as a whole is made up?
I might be missing the point entirely.
I thought they were very quick to declare it a suicide. Usually it's the "we gonna wait for the police report". A few hours after this happens it's in the papers. You'd assume somebody else would have to be home for somebody to notice it that early (found unconscious). If her husband is working that is unlikely at 9.30 and I don't know what's logical in these cases, but here it sounds like she killed herself with her husband in the shower or something. No outrage from the family as far as I've seen either. I'd be fuming at the media/hospital. I don't know, whole thing just seems fishy.
One thing is for sure, the hospital has definitely not been the unconditional support to her that they claim. By the looks of it she got scolded pretty hard to get that depressed.

Sounds like BS to me. Married with two children, works taking calls at a hospital (won't last long if you're faint hearted there). I also seriously doubt if it's even legit that somebody can do this prank that easy. You'd assume the hospital have some routines, especially when it's the hospital the royals always use.
Assuming any of this is true, the hospitals claim that they had been very supportive of her following the incident is obviously a load of dung. Either way, it's a prank call. I'm not bying any of this. No normal person with a good job and a family should be this weak. Just doesn't make any sense.
It reminds me of that Kony 2012 dude that made that viral video about the african rebel leader. 2 days later and there's a story about him getting arrested for masturbating in public. Or when they claimed to have found nuclear weapons in Libya (that story lasted about 10 minutes). Just wtf? all the way.

We might start getting all that old stuff once Axl's touring viability comes to an end. As Izzy said, if Axl went broke he'd expect this type of call pretty soon: "Hi it's Axl, you know, I've been thinking..".
Guy might have some integrity, but he still got to eat.

It'll definitely be released at some point, Axl won't live forever.
Hopefully we won't have to wait that long though...

Margin Call (2011)
Small, debut movie about a firm at the cusp of the financial crisis. For a measly budget of 4 million it really has an amazing cast. Jeremy Irons, Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker, Demi Moore and Zachary Qinto all deliver. Especially Irons and Spacey showcase the great natural actors they are.
I'm guessing it's the script that brought this thing together cause it's brilliant. For a first timer the directing is also top notch. Relaxed and smooth, economic.
First I thought this was just a good, overlooked movie. But it's actually pretty great.

Not only that but guys like Hicks and Carlin spoke about things that mattered. They were funny as hell but also social commentators (and a lot deeper than Rock's sthick). Nowadays it's just dick jokes.

Bill Hicks should be the first name on any list. I just don't get why more people haven't heard about him.
