(The next album) will come out sooner.

Covered his ass nicely with that one. He's still got about 13 years left.

Other than that I concur with others that it's good to see him finally getting out there a bit. And at least he's thinking about releasing new music.

Surely someone should hurry over to those judges houses (or estates more likely) and start putting up cameras. They'd probably see more interesting things than weeds growing too.

For me it's more of a general thing with all these celebrities/power people living pathetic and disgusting fraud lives. Imagine going back to the early 80s and telling people one of the biggest childrens programming hosts is a pedo, John Travolta is a fag and Kirk Douglas a rapist.

I don't know any such people (at least as far as I know). So why are so many of them in prominent positions? Oh right, just make sure you're working for a big organization before you do your crimes and they'll cover it up to protect their reputation. They ain't fools, these perverts.

Haven't watched a lot of his post They Live work, but Escape from LA was classic Carpenter.

Still he's got 2 of the best horror films of all time. Raimi just got a bunch of decent efforts. I don't think I'd put a single film of his higher than say, Assault on Precinct 13.

Power corrupts, and sometimes it even makes you a pedophile, apparently.

With all these old geezers getting their shirts lifted we'll soon see 6 degree games being played where the goal is to connect two pedo celebrities.

I don't know, been thinking of trying out one of the rival systems. Oh, wait...

Wait, did you just rate Sam Raimi above John Carpenter?

Just had a talk with a friend who said GNR fans R uneducated on music.
Her theory was this: Because GNR seem so perfect, many people never move beyond them. GNR fulfills all their rules for what constitutes the perfect rock band so they halt there and never discover other forms of rock n roll....

At first I wanted to punch her, but.... It may be right.
For instance how many GNR fans could recite the lyrics to Stormrbinger (Deep fucking Purple) ???

Don't really know any GN'R fans in real life, but the guys I see wearing their t-shirts in the street certainly don't look like they're on their way to punching a clock at Johnson & Johnson. Or any (legit) job for that matter.

While the perfection argument was true for me for a while, I don't think it's got a lot to do with that. Most people on this board know every in and out of this bands work, and most also do have a broad taste in music. I'm thinking, if true, it may apply more to casual GN'R fans. The redneck faction for this band is admittedly quite significant. But that's to be expected with those lyrics and the whole image they still carry.

Women are certainly more classy about these things, but you don't see chicks talking about what a great personality Brad Pitt seems to have either. You wanna get boned by him, hard. Same thing. I'm sure those who like the guy for his acting don't particularly fancy all the teenage girls bleeding out at his boards.

And come on, this is a GN'R board. I'm sure you knew there wasn't too many priests and hair dressers to be found hanging. Men will be men, especially at a place where a song named TWAT is hailed as a great work of art. Doesn't mean our attitudes are quite as base in real life.

She knows the menu at Tommys Burger Place, I can believe that.
