I'm hoping they bring back that instrumental intro for The General to start up the shows around the next few tours and whenever they decide to tour the states again instead of the Dexter theme song for the intro. ..and Maybe..they can blast into the main song by having Bumbles, DJ, Tommy, and Frank starting it off, and then Axl can come in with the rumored amazing vocal lines!!! 
Then the rest of the band just goes nuts with the song! That would be epic!!

My man Chris Pitman. If they ever did release a version of Silkworms they would probably use the Synth intros by Dizzy and Chris as like a main introduction to the new album. That would kick ass! Sort of what Caram, Axl, Josh Freese, and Eric were using for the intro at the beginning of Chinese. If that doesn't happen they may release various runs of the song in a session work compilation or bits and pieces may float around on different releases even though the song looked almost completed back in 01.

Hey what's up everybody? I've been posting here for a few days now; but I have looked through the forums of this site for quite awhile. I am loving some of the opinions and potential ideas you think Axl and the guys should pull off next. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm thinking of some new poll ideas as we speak. Just doing college homework and getting by one day at a time.

I wander whether when the song is released Axl will include brians parts this time. Brian seemed a little upset he wasn't on catcher on the album.
If they are making alt versions of cd songs available to purchase online catcher plus Brian would be cool!
I hope they do. I think Brian himself would be pleased with that since he was disappointed that Axl and the producers edited out this parts in the final mixes. That kind of ended speaking terms between for the most part around 1999. Even though I thought Catcher was pretty good in the final mix it just had a little too much over production on the guitar and bass parts. I would of been just fine to have Paul and Robin do the rhythm written guitar parts while Brian does his solo. Even though Ron's overdub worked well in the solo and was able to throw in his own ideas.

I hope there is. When I heard it on the RIO 2001 video, it blew my mind!! Bucket was having the time of his life with that song. He had that same enthusiasm with OMG was being played too. The intro is pure magic!! I'm hoping they release a ton of session work with the new album or a separate collection of all that vault material.

Just saw Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. It was pretty good. I think it's the best one yet. Far fetched as usual but good entertainment. Tom Cruise like him or not is a pretty sweet action star. Nobody rusnns like Tom Cruise.
Everyone is saying it's better than the last one. Due it's simplicity in the story line and the action. Yeah..Tom Cruise is a great actor. Also Simon Pegg is another reason I want to see the film. The guy is just freaking hilarious. Hoping to see it one of these days as well as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
