Yeah, strange strategy to not release two new songs as singles. They can get a buzz and media attention without having to compete on any Billboard/Itunes charts.
Yeah and the two songs sound like two different bands. It's becoming clear that this album is not going to be marketed like your average album. Guess they're trying to show how diverse GN'R can be. Axl and a certain former guitarist are capable of making some awesome, diverse tunes.:buckethead::mosh:

Neemo wrote:has anyone seen "beyond the mat" there is a long segment in there about jake roberts. if this story interests you then definately rent that documentary.
he's been fucked up for a long long time, its amazing hes not dead to be honest
Yeah I've seen it Neemo. Awesome documentary. Jake's been a mess for a long, long time.
"Two at a time with toys". That's my favorite quote from Jake in the documentary.
It's sad how he fucked his life and career up. He had a good character when he was in the WWF(E).

I don't think SR will even be on the album.
From the official site:
Get ready for "Shackler's Revenge," a track from Chinese Democracy that will appear on the video game Rock Band 2.

The Titans are so much better with Collins as their QB over Young. I know Young won them a couple games with his legs, but he's cost them more than that with his arm. Their defense is very good, but they are rpone to the big play for because of their aggressive style. I'm not a fan, but it's the only team I get to see every week, so I've watched them by default.
I agree. His fast legs cannot make up for the fact that he has a noodle for an arm.

yeah crazy crazy day...i cant believe that indy is 1-2,
Yeah, that loss to Jacksonville was an absolute heart breaker. And to think the game would have been over if not for that defensive penalty in the last 25 seconds.
The Colts need to make major defensive adjustments if they want to be considered a play-off contender. So strange seeing the Titans leading the AFC South.
#367 Re: Guns N' Roses » update on MSL's site » 876 weeks ago
I don't understand why he would be paid off. He didn't leak anything or post a link to anything illegal on his site. If the GN'R camp had this kind of power to pay someone off to shut them up, we wouldn't see as many bad reviews of the new material that we have.
#368 Re: Guns N' Roses » update on MSL's site » 876 weeks ago
Jarmo "sold out"
MSL is just withholding something he knows, because it would create a shitstorm for him to talk.
What exactly THAT is... is anyone's guess.
That's what I was thinking. Especially after reading that response that said "there's always a method to my madness". Judging by his posts and "other" actions, he doesn't seem like an asshole at all. He definitely has a reason for his GN'R silence.
I guess you could say "I got a funny feeling" we might find out what he knows in the next few weeks or so.

Didn't know if any of you guys saw this or not but, Mysteron said that "Shackler's Revenge" is 6 years old.
#370 Re: Guns N' Roses » IGN reviews "Shackler's Revenge" » 876 weeks ago
There's going to be a shit ton of negative reviews. Most people will never give it a fair shake because of all the baggage, 14 years, 13 mil ect. No album, not even some of the greatest of all time, can live up to the hype that has surrounded this one. Axl shouldn't give a shit about any of these reviews, positive or negative. He's already cemented his legacy. Even if CD is just him farting into a microphone it won't tarnish that legacy.
Personally, I like 90% of the new material I've heard. Even if it wasn't branded with the GN'R name. I just want a GN'R album, I could give a fuck less if it's commercially successful or changes the music scene forever.
