Bullshit on the whole not performing.
You can show up in the same room as your peers, but not perform one song? That is bullshit.
I don't think Izzy is much of a dick, just a free spirit that is like a gypsy.
Axl and Slash seem to be the king of douches, followed by Matt, then Steven and in last place would be Duff (the whole being in support of that internet restriction thing was big douche move).
If I were Slash when accepting the award I would say come on Axl let's play a song or two in person he can't run, over the phone or through lawyers he can.
Regardless, I am highly interested in who inducts them.
To conclude, Slash and Axl should put check their egos at the door and not douche it up.

The same old bullshit has been right for the last couple of years.
I for one don't understand how you waste your prime on a project and then when it is released you don't even promote it or try to repair the horrible mix that was done on it.
I am glad I did not see this band post 2006.
Axl Rose has been washed up for a while, hopefully he just goes away.
As musically he is too afraid to release stuff.
Plus a douche (himself) hating on a douche (Slash) card gets old.

The current incarnation of the band is a joke.
The whole notion this is a functioning band is a joke.
Why oh why?
Well if you can't keep any of your lead guitarists from the time you were making your big comeback album, something is up.
It is a cover band playing covers and covering another band.
Wow they toured a bit?
So what?
Buckethead not in the band hurt a lot and say what you will about Robin but that was the last straw for me.
Those two brought a more artsy creativity to the band than a guy like DJ Ashba could ever bring.

I will take Axl Rose in his 2002 voice over Myles Kennedy or any other wanker trying to sing Guns N' Roses songs.
Note I am not a huge fan of Axl anymore, since the Robin Finck departure and the horrible PR with Chinese Democracy. Who honestly lets their album tank.
Axl at his worst is still better than any vocalist imitators.
To conclude Izzy is the coolest GN'R member. At least that guy never performed with Fergie or seems like a fame whore.
Axl and Slash are douches in their own regard. I hold Slash to a higher douche scale though. Fergie and his horrible Slash albums.
Plus when he had a book signing he didn't do a photo with one of my friends and acted like a bitch, or so the story goes.

That Fillmore marquee picture is so fucking awesome.
I might be tempted to see them if they come to Toronto and do Massey Hall or some small good venue and Massey is all I can think of unless Roy Thomson Hall is smaller.

I think the best bet for Velvet Revolver is see how things go with Scott on that one show and if it is cool, bring him back.
Not a huge VR fan, I bought both albums. However, you've got to go with Scott Weiland, why even bother, trying too replace him. It ain't going to be AC/DC.

I would hope that the Verve would be inducted, that isn't at all a pathetic band from the 1990s, they are psychedelic rock.
