Some people love attention.  This is actually fueling him to keep going.

Has there been any word on a music video?  If this album is gonna sell, they're gonna need a video to get the MTV crowd

I've long wondered what will come of all the forums once CD drops.  I mean once we have the album finally, what is there going to be to talk about.  No one sits and disects WTTJ or NR any more, so eventually topics will be exhausted.  The constant stream of rumors and ideas will no longer exist to cause controversy and discussions.

I'm sure a bunch of 12 year olds will stroll in for a new york minute and cause some debate, but they'll slowly fade.  Are we going to continue to discuss rumors and debates on any future follow up albums?

The inevitable tour will cause some discussion, but outside the expected "Axl canceled or no showed here show" there won't be alot to talk about.  It's great that we have other parts of the site to talk about things like politics or movies, but will the base stay after what brought us all together in the first place is gone?

Just wondering what other people think.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I think this album is fucking amazing.  I don't think there is a single song I don't like (though If The World is my personal least favorite) and none qualify as filler to me.  I really digg these new songs, and I think Catcher and the Rye is the unknown masterpiece of the album.  I can't wait to have the thing in my hands in a few more weeks.

Candy Corn and popcorn balls.  Dumbest things ever.

I am fucking in love with This I love.  I can't get the song out of my head

This I Love is...interesting.  I'll need to hear a clear version.  It may have potential once all the static is gone, but for the first 2.5 minutes, I kept asking where are the guitars at.

I definitely see the doom metal reference on sorry.  Just listen to that bass riff on the beginning.  Though this song has a very strong early 1980s feel to it.

I am extremely impressed with Catcher.  I agree with James on the blues.  I fuckin loved that song in 2002.  I used to play teh Boston 2002 rip of that song religuously, got me through alot of hard times in college.  It's still a great song, but I thought the 01 and 02 version was better.  I'll hold off on judging scraped as I won't judge a new song in the current sound condition.  I haven't listened to Sorry or this I love yet,  but I've been waiting a very long time for this i love, so I hope I'm not disapointed.
