There have been many theories, but the most logical one(in my opinion) is the theory that a reunion tour would happen either timed with the release or immediately after the release.
I don't think there's gonna be a tour promoting the album(by any lineup).
Well yes that does make more sense then some of the shit I've heard lately

I agree with you on that,I remember my sister was in to them back in the '80's and she kept playing their stuff,it was really awful.

I agree I will not be embracing this format either - at least not legally.
They said album sales on CD dropped almost 19% last year. I would dare say those people not buying CD's are still listening to music they are just downloading it instead of buying CD's.
If they think by offering this SD card it will fill the void of of falling CD sales and capture some of these people that are downloading they are in for a rude shock. People switched to downloading because it's fee (ignoring itunes type things).
I know personally if I am going to pay for something I want a damn CD and a booklet and some decent packaging etc etc. If I am not getting that then I will be looking to pick up just the songs as cheaply as possible - i.e. for free! I don't care for their crappy SD cards they can stick em.
I agree with what you said,most of the people I know just download using torrents,LimeWire ect.so it's not going to make much difference when it comes to downloading.

Well to play devil's advocate, for years there have always been theories that a reunion(or a partial reunion) would somehow play into the release of CD. Since we may be nearing the home stretch, its not surprising that the topic has surfaced again.
Yes,but if say Slash or Duff isn't on CD how would that tie into a reunion,I mean unless they re-record or add something to the album,or maybe Axl,Slash,and Duff have been secretly recording a new album and somehow no one knows about it.

Well I'm surprised they didn't do this before,ofcourse it will make it easier for people to share the albums online,but I like to go out and buy a cd or whatever,I really don't want to buy albums in this format because if I wanted that I would simply download it.

Guns will always play the classics,no matter what because that's what most people want to hear,it doesn't matter if they have a new album out,sure they'd probably play some new songs,but they will always play the classics.

Axl doesn't give a fuck about the fans and he won't start caring about the fans anytime soon.Also I get tired of reading the "Axl is a genius" shit,because Axl is just a normal man,sure he's cool and all,but a genius he's not.The problem is that Axl thinks the world revolves around him and ofcourse it doesn't,don't get me wrong Axl's my all time favorite singer and I really like the new band,but people saying that all of this shit is part of "Axl's vision"is full of shit.

why all the arguing over what bands are better than other bands,when you think about it it doesn't really matter.I come on this board because it's a Guns board and no other reason,I don't come on here to read stuff about other bands and I could care less if someone thinks one band is better than another.

if there was a reunion I can't see them having Pitman or any of the new guys,everyone knows Slash wouldn't let anyone else play a solo.
