#4421 Re: Guns N' Roses » POLL: BH Returning? » 930 weeks ago

I'll give up sex for...umm...6....no...3 months if he comes back. Fuck that, I'll suck a cock to bring him back. I'll do Pitman even. Dizzy too.

No, I'm not kidding.

But will he? All my sense and logic says no, but my GN'R hope hopeoufys (located to the left behind your right ear. takes years of bitterness and failures to develop) whispers a tiny miny 'yes'.

My shrink tells me to stop listening to the hopeoufys though, so what do I know?

Not as bad as it looks. They are wise to not jump any guns this time around.

It's looking more promising than the Harley stuff though, definitely.

Fuckin' hilarious that gnr.com is way behind as usual. When is that admin gonna get the can? 16

Worst happens we get a brand new song deemed fit to feature in a commercial game, ie. it's good.

That's really enough for me.

Those are not accusations. Some of his material are basically blueprints of Hicks material.

But they are still different types of comedians, so yeah, matter of taste.

Somebody's sounding like a broken record 16

It could be, but there's an ocean of difference between Buckethead and Guns N' Roses. There's no reason for him to release a single since nobody knows who he is. Axl and Guns on the other hand...they can, should and will release some sort of single. You don't put it in people's hands to discover a new song from this type of album.

Del James has confirmed it as well.

These are from last weeks Roskilde. Some great memories.

Rockin' out to Jay Z. I don't particularly like rap, but damn it's good to make fun of it.

#4430 Re: The Garden » An Iran Attack Scenario » 930 weeks ago

I respect your courage to fight for what you believe in Randall.

As for a war with Iran, I don't see the logic. Granted, the neo-cons have their vision of an american controlled middle east, but here they are clearly out of touch with reality. It all reminds me of Hitlers decision to attack Poland, thinking the allies wouldn't have the balls to respond.

And what's the goal really? The administration has clearly showed that morals is limited to Fleischers mouth, so it's not about protecting the world from nuclear missiles. And even if it were, an operation not involving ground troops would have a high uncertainty as to actually dismantling their program. You don't risk war with Russia if you can't even be sure to reach your objective. Ground troops and occupation will have to be applied if anything meaningful is to come out of it. The military forces are strechted out enough already, so an invasion would require either a draft or the rerouting of forces stationed elsewhere. So it's either risking positions abroad or at home, and for what? So that they get one step closer to a neo-utopian vision that's already falling apart by destroying a nation with no real significance to US security?

Luckily there seems to be minds of reason in military and intelligence circles who's trying to avoid such a scenario.

Then again, if Iran doesn't abandon their program, and I don't think they will, how is the US going to avoid an incredibly embarrassing defiance like that without taking action? There's a lot of prestige invested. The situation is closely resembling a clusterfuck where all options will lead to war.

What happened to the world we had in 1991?
