Backstreet Boys were way better, and I'm pretty sure they influenced The Beatles.

Clearly rigged voting.  What a joke.

As ludicrous as it is that either one of them made the finals, I will gladly vote for GN'R. Can't stand Rush's fanbase.

I'm getting to the point that I can't stand either band's fanbase.

Well, we like you just fine. wink

I'm so glad you said that first. Nothing badass about looking angry through a blond cockscomb.

Most of the band is. Even slashba's been a great live addition energy wise. He's just full of energy and trying to stay positive. He hasn't learned yet that Axl doesn't have his back or value enthusiasm. We'll know he's learned when he either starts talking only non Guns stuff or when he quits altogether

Nothing Disney does will make them responsible for fucking up the franchise. That's been done already.

Too drunk to properly rail against this bullshit right now.

I watched Cabin in the Woods last night for the first time. I had heard good things about it so my expectations were a tad higher than they should've been and it was a massive let down. It seemed interesting at first and I did find it kinda creepy to begin with but then the fucking zombies came and it turned into a complete joke.  One of the most fucking stupid 2nd halfs to a movie I have ever seen.  TERRIBLE.

We also have watched Pitch Perfect a couple times recently, and I'm totally into that movie as well. It's one of those that will be in heavy rotation in the blu-ray player for a while.

I thought that movie was hilarious.

I've ruined this movie for more than one person by overselling it. For me, I just really like the govt subplot, and then the horror porn of the hallway scene. There are Cenobites, Deadites, Left 4 Dead zombies, and misc. creatures all in one spot!

The movie itself isn't that wonderful in retrospect, but I've seriously dented my cred with a few friends talking it up after my first watch.

Hell. Why not do a Pearl Jam/Soundgarden tour and just pay Matt a shit-ton of dough to drum for both?

I honestly can't think of a better way to kill a person. Do you have a secret insurance policy on him, Russ? wink

Fuck yeah. Never liked anything as much as I like Gish. After that I made the mistake of learning about the band. Should've never done that. Plus, talk about a dude who NEEDS studio magic to make his voice sound good.

I know I'm hugely in the minority here, so I'm not trying to cause offense, honestly. To me though, it wasn't Sympathy for the Devil that was the sound of GNR breaking up, it was TSI?, just no one realized it at the time.

BTW- I decided to give it my annual listen today, so I'm spinning it right now at work. It'll be good to have it out of the way so early in 2013. big_smile
