It's George Floyd all over again on Reddit. People who bring up his lengthy criminal record assaulting women and children...downvoted to hell and back. If you worship the piece of shit ...upvotes galore!!
Our culture is sick.
Reddit as a legitimate political platform was dead the minute they changed the front page algorithm during 2016 election. From there they’ve continually made changes to throttle one side of politics and boost the other.
Is Reddit woke now because of the algorithm changes and heavy modding *or* because those changes actually influenced the average user farther left over the last 6 years?
Who knows. I agree it’s crazy there is a large block of people willing to go to bat for criminals.

I imagine it is a unpopular "luddite" opinion but I don't think ChatGPT is close to AGI.
AGI would come up with new ideas and opinions. Yes, humans rarely do this. Most never do. But they can. ChatGPT can only answer questions from its database. Granted it is a big database. It is a useful tool. I don't expect any novel ideas from it though. We'll see.

I have a feeling Dems do better than expected in states that take a long time to count their votes. And they hold the Senate.

Please Lord don’t let Slash become like all the other GNR guitarists over the years who promised us new music and didn’t deliver 
That said this is the first i’ve read of them talking about ACTUAL new material and not just CD rehashes.
I just hope Axl has it in him vocally. It would be a honor to hear new music.

I missed out on wrestling growing up so I never got into it but Randy Savage was a great guest on Loveline. Some interesting wrestling talk. He’s there promoting his album Be A Man in 2003. Good show. Thought people here might enjoy
