Could be an attempt from the West to entangle Russia in another theater. The Ukraine War is losing effect, people don't care about it. If they can get Russia to intervene on behalf of their ally, the desired image of aggressive Hitler dictator is easier to sell.

I disagree. I can tell a difference. The mix is louder, the split between the right and left speaker very noticeable. Slash on the right, Izzy on left. Although some cases it's all Slash. Little sounds or vocals are mixed to one side better. It's more about clarity, nuance and separation of guitars. Perhaps if I had a $2000 stereo I would notice more but in my car I notice a lot of improvement over the original.
I wasn't going to get this box set but now I feel I have to. Good thing I don't have 600 to burn right now so I can wait for a reduction in prize.

Wow he's great. Could hang some of those on my walls and I'm picky about paintings.
I guess it shouldn't but it always surprises me when artists have major talent in other fields. Ronnie Wood!

Love the show but watching it as an adult makes you realize how it could have been so much better.
They couldn't decide whether to have things revolve around ALF and the boy(Brian) or ALF and Willie. They leaned more towards Willie...but should've went further.
I also wish they had focused more on the family dysfunction while an alien essentially runs the house and calls the shots.
They made it too kid-family oriented.
It just begs to be a dark comedy.
When I read about the show many years later, I was surprised the writers never attempted it. The crew controlling ALF and of course the voice actor would harass the other actors between takes and spew insults at them...and sexual shit towards the daughter. Towards the end they all hated working on the set.
This show has the worst series finale in history.
This analytical cultural side is something unique to Americans I think. Personally I love it when people delve into culture like that and I don't think I've ever seen it in Europe. Here it is just "I like that, I don't like that". You never hear stuff like "they utilized that character incorrectly" or "show went downhill in the third season". Of course it exists here, but it's a nerdy thing reserved for a small minority. In America I get the impression grandmothers can have these opinions.

Never heard any of those. Not even the name. I guess they were somewhat big in the 70s? Reminds you how the vast majority of everything ends up completely forgotten. Will GN'R be remembered in 200 years? Probably not..? It'll be something like Elvis, Beatles, MJ from the 20th century I can imagine. Like we know Bach, Mozart, Beethoven but not much else.
Been listening to this all month:
I think it's my new "Christmas Song" because they used it briefly in Die Hard (ultimate Christmas movie).

That's very good.
Is Ronnie Wood a guy with the same name, or does the Rolling Stones guitarist draw portraits?

If it's one show I can imagine was thought up on an acid trip it is "Alf". Had a lot of fun watching it when I was a kid.
I can't really think of any good theme songs. It's like none of them are made to be anything other than a memorable hook. Something like the Wire is not bad but it doesn't stand out either.
These are probably the best for me:

Coolest Christmas song I ever heard. Brilliant.

I realised it when I went to the show the other night and causals near me were giving each other high fives when the hits came on.
Like songs they're basically guaranteed to play like nighttrain and SCOM and PC....but they're like "oh yeah, they played my song" and losing their shit like they just won powerball or bingo or something.
Like for every me that would get excited for twat or locomotive there's 1000 dudes in the audience who thank their lucky stars if they play November Rain.
I wonder how many concert goers are there for anything BUT the music. When they hit a city near me last year, I noticed a lot of people I knew were going to the show, and I would say nobody was really a fan of the band. Maybe they like a few songs, but most popular bands can say that. I think they went just so they could be part of "the event".
I wouldn't even go to a Fleetwood Mac show, and I kinda like them quite a lot. They're just not on that level where I want to spend money on tickets and traveling costs. But I guess most people don't think like that.
