One of the most extensive interviews/chats with Axl, the Eddie Trunk show, really made me see Axl in a different light.
He was funny as hell, he was ironic and seemed to understand why some people would assume he's a prick and in some cases he even seemed to agree with them.
When that baseball-player-gnr-fan who "leaked" IRS called in, Axl was funny, ironic and polite. He was "busting his balls" about leaking IRS in a way that EVERYONE there seemed to find funny, even the baseball-guy himself seemed relieved and comfortable at the end of it.
That whole interview showed a relaxed side of Axl selldom seen or heard before or since. So whenever I read or hear someone taking a petty shot at Axl for whatever reason, I really feel I now better!
(If any of you guys for some reason haven't heard it. Get on it! It's out there and worth every second!)

Anyone claiming the mods and admin here are heavy handed are talking out they're arse, its a flat out lie or at best blissfull ignorance.
The whole "censorship" argument is a lot of hot air, at GNREvo we have discussions like adults and sometimes the threads can run forever, sometimes they run their course and die, but often they stray a million miles off the original topic but since they are normally engrossing conversations, noone minds at all.

I've kinda grown tired of this MSL stuff.
But when someone started suggesting that moderators here at GNRevolution are heavy handed, that's just pulling stuff out of their asses!!
I'm not a long time member, only been here a short while compared to others. I knew James was an admin, but it wasn't until today I found out about the other moderators.
At least to me, that says a lot about the level of "censorship" on this site!
Maybe I could have found out about the mods/admins, but I never bothered to look.
Great job everyone and please continue as you were!

Naltav, unless you are in the band, you have nothing to defend. Nobody is attacking you.
Isn't that kinda one of the ways forums (either pure politicical forums or music/entertainment type forums) work? You argue for or against certain topics/situations. Or defend/attack or how ever you prefer to phrase it...

i think the day-to-day operations of the band are revealed in the locations of the band members & a few times Ron & others have said they communicate constantly via txt/email. they aren't getting together everyday, the 6 or 7 guys, to jam rehearse or write or record. they are all sitting in their own homes focusing on their own projects until one day Axl decides he wants to do something other than kickboxing or watching loony tunes with fernando then the other guys drop their wives/families/work & rush out to malibu asap..

There should be a law passed that states that every musician, sportperson, actor, comedian, TV-personality or any other person that somehow works as a performer of any kind have to turn over all their letters, emails, contracts etc etc etc so that we, the public, know that there are no immoral actions taken by said people!!!
Sure, those crazy nutjob wacko artists we all love or love to hate might be interesting geniuses who create fascinating art for us to enjoy (or hate)! But FUCK IT! If their conduct behind the scenes can't stand the public light, get rid of 'em! GET RID OF 'EM, I SAY!!!
The music-business would be much more interesting with a bunch of Bono's, Chris Martin's and Bob Geldof's running around!

that vid^ was a promo spot for corporate investment/sponsorship or for tv spots. it wasn't a msg intended to reassure the fans of the love in the group.
For every other hardcore-fan around the world, it's nothing less than a catastrophy! Pro reunion or not.
We all pretty much know that some dirty/shady buisness must have been going on behind the scenes during the last decade or two.
And if you've read some books about the music-buisness, it's no surprise that it IS a shady buisness most of the time.This is not WikiLeaks stuff that could possibly have a positive outcome for society as we know it.

i don't see it as a catastrophy tbh. yea for me it'd be sad if GnR were dissolved, but the truth is much more important.
