I give two shits what artist believe politically, but….
"I hate conservatives but I really fucking hate liberals" is a direct quote from Matt Stone

You have plenty of time to post on a forum. Maybe don’t start your nonsense attacking what other people do in their free time at 10:00 or 11:00 at night for 30 minutes, or any part of the day with Hulu. You look real douchey.

I don’t think it’s a secret that Roiland and Harmon lean left, just as Parker and Stone lean right.
I understand your point, but we live in a world where if the street thug is anyone but a white man in fiction, you’ll have a legion of bored people on Twitter calling you a bigot. We can’t even acknowledge the increase of crime or those least likely to get vaccinated, cause the demographics don’t fit the woke narrative.
South Park mocked transgenderism by having Kyle turn black and Gerald becoming a dolphin. They drew Mohammed. No one is going to make satire that points out the absurdity of far left causes in today’s America. It’s much easier to smugly parrot a far left talking point and feel superior. Point and case Rick’s slavery comment on the electoral college.

Interesting, I’m a fan too and hadn’t noticed. When the Captain Planet knockoff killed a bunch of coal miners, it seemed very South Park esque to me.

By far the best song on the album and I still think it rocks 13 (15) years later. Nothing on the album that was changed bothered me as much as Slash's changes for playing it live. Robin didn't rewrite SCOM or NR, I wish Slash would just play it as written instead of making it his own.

I was obsessed with this song until Better leaked in 06. Bought several shitty concert videos from 02 just to get better angles of the song. Really enjoyed the 06 leak as well,, but what came out in 2008 not only changed the title, but a bunch of the arrangements and synth shit Pittman (I assume) had in the 02 and 06 versions were completely absent. This song more than any other was over produced and rewritten more than any other song. I still listen to the 06 version when I want to hear this.

Duly noted.
Do you disagree that to 99.9% of people, being raped results in anger and rage? How many people that are raped continue to have consensual sex years after the rape with the rapist? That's my struggle with this. I oversaw quite a few sexual assault cases in the military, and in my observation, the willingness of the raped to be friendly with the rapists was the number one indicator of how factual the allegations are. I'm not saying people don't respond differently or demonstrate their trauma differently. Just that continuing to have sex with someone who raped you isn't something that I find a plausible scenario.

I think you missed the point. He's saying Motley Crue was notorious for something similar.
He's accused by about 60 women that he drugged their drinks without them knowing, then had sex with them while they were unconscious. For some time there was a belief that if she didn't say "no" then it wasn't rape, even if she wasn't given the opportunity to say no. This isn't giving girls cocaine at a party.
I don't know how you can be outraged about Cosby's rights being trampled, when he was doing the same thing. A woman has the right to say no, and he took that away from them. Except he wasn't getting rammed by a dick while he was unconscious.
This isn't sleeping with someone you wished you hadn't because you were drunk or stoned, but someone deliberately drugging you to have sex with you because you turned them down.
Admittedly I don't recall all of the known testimony Cosby gave, and if he was knocking women out, that is rape plain and simple. All I know about ludes is what I saw on Wolf of Wall Street. I smoke weed daily, but the hardest drug I've done in my life is shrooms, so please ignore my naivete. But didn't the woman who he was ultimately convicted of raping have a consensual sexual relationship with Cosby years after the alleged rape? I've never been able to reconcile that, save battered women whom are married and live with their abusive spouse. If someone knocked me out and raped me, there is no friendship afterwards. There isn't consensual sex for years after. I'd either murder them in cold blood before offing myself or do the right thing and go to the authorities. As far as I know, Cosby only admitted to getting ludes, not using an amount intentionally to make a woman unconscious. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but it certainly wasn't proven in his trial. Cosby admitted he used ludes, but he never stated it wasn't consensual, and again Wolf of Wall Street, one pill doesn't seem enough to make someone catatonic.
If he rendered women unconscious so he can have sex against their consent, that's rape. Giving someone a medication to take the edge off and make them more loose isn't rape. I have no idea what occurred here, but again, someone who is raped probably shouldn't have consensual sex for years after.

Yes...I'll clarify one last time...I like that exposes the hypocrisy of the people who live in this country. Especially the ones who think their shit don't stink.
It's a mirror...if you don't like what you see just know you're looking at yourself.
Can you elaborate, cause I'd really like to understand your point of view. Are you saying Fox News is a mirror of America or that CNN, MSNBC, and the various forms of print media are mirrors. I've never rioted and looted a target, firebombed a federal courthouse or police station, and never rioted in the Capitol. I've never shot up a crowded mall or school, nor killed a child in a gang related shooting. Admittedly I haven't watched television news save my local news station since election night, but I don't understand your argument here. Regardless of source, these outlets are pushing a narrative and intentionally mislead or exclude from their "report" relevant details most people would consider. I don't consider being spoon fed a narrative designed to increase ratings as a mirror, but look forward to your explanation.
James's Bill Hicks comment earlier in this thread is pretty spot on. The media will have you believe the world is on fire, but as I look out my window at 1:28 on a summer Friday afternoon, i see some kids riding their bikes in pure bliss.

I guess working across the aisle and finding common ground can work to make this country better. I hope this continues. Congratulations, Joe Manchin. You won't get the credit, but politicos will remember it was you.

Now that SCOTUS has kept the ACA intact and 2 of Trump’s appointees to include ACB sided with the 7-2 majority, are we going to hold those who screamed Armageddon accountable? Or is such hyperbole and hysterics par for the course?
