I have to be honest. I hang around this place for the off topic parts of the forum. I've given up on them release anything significant at this point (doesn't have to be a new album).
I'm pretty much the same. I don't think much will leak either anymore either. Gosh, hard to believe VR was coming together in what, '03?

I think it’s time you admit that many of your ailments may have come during your 16 year NFL career.
I hope when you do receive the vaccine that your issues stay minor if any. I got something called Co-vid arm which was this non-painful, non-itchy ugly rash that went down my whole arm to my wrist. Never really got an explanation for it. But it was gone in a week.
Funny, I think I sorta mixed things up with Communist China who was from Buffalo & a Bills fan, but it was also way back in 2004 when I began posting on HTGTH, so James Lofton was a more recent retiree. Anyway I just assumed it was a corny handle James chose at some point, maybe even tracing back into the 90s, kinda like Jerry Rice or Dan Marino. Anyway it was a few years later when I learned that was actually his real name. Always thought it was a peculiar username handle to a nondescript WR for some reason.

This band is over. Just move on fellas.
Did something happen? Or rather did nothing happen?
It's gonna be an interesting 2-3 years here. With little to no tour this year, probably no releases and possibly no news, even in 1 years time this forum may begin to grow cobwebs. It's possible at the end of 2022 this is a ghosttown like the DJ Ashba/pre-NITL years.

Desantis is extremely popular...Haley is not...IDs been talking about her for years. Not sure why the obsession.
Dude, fuck off. Seriously. If we're talking about potential Republican candidates for President she's always been mentioned. You need to deal with your Trump obsession before you start that shit.
She'll totally run. Primaries tend to be 8-12 people, she's one of them. Will she last? Dunno, tough to say. Her state, SC, is one of the earlier states, which helps, I think it goes Iowa, NH, SC. So if she had a strong Iowa showing, skips NH & takes SC its a solid chance. Too early to really say who the frontrunners are, but yes she's running for Prez.

See I view this as a 90s staple, not a forgotten gem, but I can see it. I really loved these types of 90s 1 hit wonders (hate to belittle them with that term). Hum - Stars & Toadies Possum Kingdom are others. Filter was more of a slightly lasting band but Nice Shot is another.

That's the first time I've ever checked tik Tok.
I don't get the appeal. I assume all the videos are that short. So it's kinda like that Vine shit years ago?
Yeah, its mostly 15 seconds. Can go up to 60 seconds, early on it seemed less common & they'd lock the higher trending ones to the 15 seconds, probably selling a mindset or addiction to it, lately tho it seems the 60 seconds is popular as well. Its a funny app, I'll say, it does seem to bring people together, more strangers than IG or FB, just videos randomly popup in your feed. So kinda like Twitter, you just scroll down video after video indefinitely. You can 'follow' ppl too, which is a different tab or page, so checking both out is good. People from the south, west coast, NYC, Boston, even UK and other countries although it mostly seems to show me US. It'll find your interests so I like watching skateboarding & guitarists/covers, there's different niches but mostly its comedy too.
Vines a good analogy, a different sense of humor with kids/Gen Z but I find it funny.

Im not a spring chicken anymore. The fears of my drug fueled youth came true...my body is breaking down as I stare down the barrel of 50.
Im not looking forward to rolling the dice on either one... regardless of what the exact statistics are for each path you travel.
There are currently young and old people in cemeteries and urns who wound up there days/weeks after getting sick or getting a shot.
I'm sure they'd all like a do over on their decision.... whichever it was.
You've been very open about your past with drug use. I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing what it's doing to you in old age. I don't want to pry into your privacy but I assume you're an open book based on the things you've posted here over the years.
I'll be honest, around 42 your body really starts to break down. Just like joints hurts, wrists, knees, back, neck. I was always a big beer drinker, could easy do 10-12 on some nights out with little effort. Now, 3 beers is good for me, maybe 4. I think if I drank a 6 pack I'd be zonked out. Things like that, James might be a little worried about liver, kidney type stuff too, heck I should be. Can't do shots/liquor at all anymore, my body doesn't break it down and it just feels like its running thru my bloodstream the next day.

Ok, I admit I'm on there, I think its a pretty cool app, fun. This came up in my feed, thought it was funny. Checked out the guys profile, he's actually a pretty good drummer, so seems legit. TikTok hjumor tho.

Whoa, Mr ID, I just heard on the radio there may be a link between the Astra Zeneca vaccine and certain types of blood clots.
Found some articles: https://www.seattletimes.com/business/o … clot-link/
