In his defense he wrote it in hindsight... had he never heard the limo driver/security whatever say "Yes that's Slash" I don't think his blog would read 'I passed by this man who had a look on his face as if he was saying why don't you, who are my age, recognize me anymore'. It would probably have been more along the lines of "I was crossing the street and this guy was giving me this evil stare, I thought, did I do something to piss him off or something?! Fucking jerkoff"

Yeah, but Deadlest Catch is a pretty cool show. I gotta hit an All-you-can-eat-Crab-night soon... I watch this show every week.

Sounds like the did exaggerate this "sinking" bit.

She's actually saying it was an art project, a "performace art" project. The "performace art" being the act of sending out a press release, coming up with the disgusting idea etc. Still a hoax, I think she's trying to make a statement about Yale supporting her idea, until the media got hold of it, then maybe they seemed to disassociate them from her. Whatever, kinda lame. Reminds of those college students in the movie PCU "We're not gonna protest!!"

I would rather see them just get the singer they want (or the best they can get) and be assertive and say "This it it, our new albumws being recorded this fall". On the other hand, I do like the idea of a gig with 'several different singers' because if one really shines, word might get out that they were an awesome fit. Who knows, it could be someone like Kravitz, Kid Rock, Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees) or anybody who steals the show.

I wouldn't mind seeing them do the album that way, but they aren't going to. Still it would give them a chance to work with singers who are currently in bands (Anthony Kiedes, Chris Robinson)
