So Axl and Bucket started working on a pretty killer Nu Metal album it seems.

I find it totally weird they never played it yet had Tommy do solo spots where he did covers or his own solo songs. They really should have started playing CD2 songs after 2010.

If you exclude Going Down leaking in 2013, between 08 and now is the longest period of time ever between a new GNR songs being released, debuted live or leaking. Very sad.

Jesus wept....

Someone who sails the world in a yacht and flies on private planes is not going to give me advice on how much gas goes into my car.

She doesn't use planes....

To folk attacking her, attack the content of her words - don't just say it's hysterical, actually say which parts are incorrect. Don't just attack the fact that she's 16 year old girl with aspergers.

She frequently agrees with all of you about one thing: It is ridiculous that a 16 year old girl is having to tell those who run the world to listen to the science.

I do feel bad for her though, it isn't great for someone her age to be getting this kind of attention and adulation, but she does actually seem to be handling it well at least.

I think it's the fact they're acknowledging it's existence that is the key takeaway.

How many unreleased gnr tracks have made it on to a setlist besides Oklahoma?

Going Down was on some between 06-14 I think. Can't remember exactly when.

Atlas is too messy in this form for me. The 01 rough mix we got the other day was way better.

This leak of Perhaps is way better. The original leaker did a number on that when they messed with it. Sounds so good.

#646 Re: Guns N' Roses » RE-Recorded AFD Vs. Re-Recorded CD » 366 weeks ago

Technically what we got in the end was rerecorded CD.

Interesting. Something always rubbed me the wrong way about her too and yeah ... climate change is all too real.

My only worry about Greta is less her or her family. I don't think she's some front for some globalist eco agenda or whatever like some rightwingers speculate - not everything is a conspiracy.

Do worry about her though, it's a lot of attention for a 16 year old to have (kind of in the same way you worry about child tv and pop stars etc) and by her own admission it's ridiculous that she's having to go on a school strike and congress is having her speak in front of them instead of scientists.

Also Id, she's Swedish.

Agreed about fears of the climate crisis movement leading to eco-terrorism. It's borderline already there. They shutdown bridges and trains in London a few months back. On the one hand I get it, in that they want to see some tangible action on this before it's too late, and this stuff is the next step of non-violent protest, but as I pointed out to people by disrupting civil infrastructure you cause deaths due to simple things like ambulances not being able to get to hospitals etc.

If world government's don't do something about it soon it's gonna get worse. Both in terms of activitists' actions and the planet just dying...

Apparently it is not.

Digging this though, sounds really good.

Excellent observation.

A nightmare indeed and someone like Tommy, Dizzy, or Pitman who were there since the beginning of the saga had to roll their eyes and bite their lip in frustration at the absurdity of it all.

it doesn't need Ron noodling or Frank pounding a drum. It was perfect in 2000!

Agreed, it's not even a diss on Ron and Frank. It's not their fault their additions kind of suck... almost anyone's additions would have sucked at that point, the tracks were already overbaked!
