This probably deserves another thread, but what is the current band's course? Also, what do you mean by current band?
I agree with this in theory, but reading it made me think this over. Is their current course one album? Is it touring until there's a reunion? Is it releasing several albums? They can't seem to get one album out for whatever reason, so expecting several is unrealistic. Are they done after CD and a tour supporting it? Will there be another silent period after that?
Personally, I think they're done after CD (if it ever comes out). I don't see any reason to continue beyond that with everything it took just to get to that point.
Then we can have the "Super Guns N' Roses Reunions Tour" to support the 10 or so different lineups individually playing the songs they wrote and/or recorded culminating with everybody on stage for KOHD in a R&RHOF style production with the 50 plus people that have been associated with the band musically at one point or another. Teddy, Tracy and Roberta, Tracii Guns, the 976-horns, BH, Brain, Dave Navarro, Zack Wylld, Brian May, Beta on tamborine, etc. What the fuck, we might as well have fun with it.

Unless it was code for "we made out offer to the record company and they dont like our terms, its in their court now" in which case we might be in for a long wait.
I'm afraid this is exactly what it means. Hopefully I'm wrong. I don't think Axl even has management right now though, and that is troubling as well. If he's the one calling the shots (as he's always been) without anybody to tell him what he's asking for is nuts, we're in for a wait that might make the current wait seem short.
I still stick with my original prediction that the album will come out after Axl dies.

I don't believe it. Even if it is true, this basically admits that the past 15 years weren't the record company's fault (which we all knew anyway).

Haven't heard the real one with Axl yet. I'd love to, but I haven't come across it just yet.
Maybe if you're lucky, you'll stumble across it.

I disagree. I think a lot of the sales will be due to Axl and the hype surrounding his singing on the album. Someone posted some reviews from the media and they all focused more on Axl than the songs themselves or Baz.

I voted the same. Dizzy didn't do anything special or create masterful piano parts. Anybody could have done what he did, it just happened to be him. I have nothing against Dizzy, I just don't think he's anything special either.
