Cool info, D. I did actually know about Hugh, but not about Alec airing his dirty laundry. Imagine hitching on ride on the Bon Jovi wagon and blowing it like that? That shit would keep me up at nights.

Bah- I guess he was fired for substance abuse and general suckitude. I guess it's been a long time since I went looking for that info.

That was a really good interview, and I've always thought Richie was underrated. I love hearing anyone in that band talk about their relationship with Jon- he's definitely running that whole show.

I heard most, but not all of it, and it's old news by now, but I've never heard anyone talk frankly about Alec John Such leaving. I've always considering that somewhat akin to Jackie leaving Stern- talk about setting off for browner pastures.

I also heard his new single on the way in to work today. It's not bad- it's very  modernish, but throws some good guitars in. I'll buy it to show support, but it's an mp3 only buy for me right now.

Finally, Sambora in KISS? Imagine that.

You're not the only one at all, but you may have been the one that made me see how apt the comparison is. It was definitely someone from this board, and I've brought it up in other discussions since, both here and in meatspace.

If it was you, thanks and great call.

My gut feeling is that the posters all over the city and building will be the largest part of this huge event. Wouldn't mind a bit being wrong.

So no one has a problem with it still being called the General Lee? Maybe they'll come up with some Chinese cartoon mascot to gloss that part over. Totally retarded.

Damn, too bad. Hope he gets healthy soon, and back out where he belongs.

Somewhat along the lines of what Russ is saying, my bet would be that Axl's comments actually pertain more to watching them decorate and brand the venue than anything musical that he's taking a direct hand in.

And I truly doubt that they'll change the setlist list up from night to night any more than they already do, which means pretty much a small handful of alts that get swapped in and out.

Though is there's a god, they'll take Dizzy's solo away.

Well, time sucks, but I'm glad to hear he's adapting. Dude's pipes have been through the ringer. You've got me on another Cinderella listening binge, not that it takes much pushing. smile
