yea Walmart sells that shitty Use Your Illusion album, all the songs without dirty words on one album sad   walmart sucks.

I never knew that.. So do they just not have the songs which have bad words at all, or are the words edited/bleeped out (like a radio edit)

I'm more of a Target fan myself 22

I am intrigued by cheesesteaks, PaSnow!  is it an american favourite?

That's funny, I don't get what's so hard about it all, a soft roll, steak meat (same kind you use if you ever cook a pepper steak or something, boneless beef, cut into strips. Some places cut the beef into shreds, other leave it as small strips. It's ok either way), throw it on a pan and melt cheese onto the steak when the steak is just about done. When done, mix it up and throw it on a  a big soft roll (hoagie, grinder, sub whatever you call it just as long as it's bigger than a hotdog roll). I like to fry onions with mine. The trick is to put a ton of beef in there, not some crappy assed cheesesteak.

The one thing is there really aren't any chains for them either. You just goto a local pizza shop (or a few cheesesteak shops) and order one.  If you ever wanna come try one, give a holla;)

Yeah, wow it's like a blast from the past with Stoned & jazjme. Cool to see Metallex, Mikkimakka & Jack back as well.

Here's another example of the industry worrying about quantity way before quality

And failing to adapt to changing surroundings. Instead of looking into future alternative releases (online, a la Radiohead) they pound their fist and say "Do it better so we will sell more!".  THis guy won't last. Album sales will continue to decrease, he'll release all his big name acts, and other labels will pick them up.

Maybe Baz helped Axl years ago and Axl thought he could help him now.  Maybe they just had a good time getting high together.  Whatever it is doesn't have to be bad, but there almost has to be more to it than just calling him after that long to say hi.

Well yeah I'm sure there's SOMETHING to it. But it just wasn't orchestrated or any reason to do it. They just got together & jammed & did it, recording a few tracks for a friend. I don't think he just woke up & said "I'm going to record on Bach's nexxt album".

I think Neemo may be right, I think Baz heard Axl was in NYC & told someone to tell him he says "Hi". Axl got the messege & asked whomever for his ph#.

phew, that's ok 22  I was beginning to be afraid if someone asked to do something tonight or have a beer after work I would say "I can't, I have to watch The Young & the Restless"

I don't get you people who say you have no interest in seeing a reunion.

I'm sorry, but to me that means that you are an Axl Rose fan ... not a GN'R fan. This project of Axl's  has had no solid lineup and no album releases. How in the hell can you say that you prefer that to the real deal ? Don't you people like bands who are able to maintain the same band members and release music ?

I agree with what James said yesterday about respecting other's opinions, and it makes the forum a more interesting place, but I honestly don't understand how anyone can say that they prefer this nu era when they really haven't done much of anything. I'm definitely interested in hearing Axl's album, but at the same time, I'm pro reunion all the way.

For all of you guys that said that you'd rather see Axl and his guys on payroll, ask yourself this question ...

Do you normally prefer coverbands to the real thing ?

bba

In their defense I think they are mostly saying "for right now, they have no interest in a reunion" and want CD 100%.  That's not to say 5+ years from now they wouldn't accept a reunion.

^^ On soap opera's nonetheless???

I can't beleive I'm about to say this, but I'm going to have to watch The Young & the Restless tonight.. and record it. The channel SoapNet repeats the days soap operas.  I'll try to verify any truth to this.
