If Vice President @Mike_Pence comes through for us, we will win the Presidency. Many States want to decertify the mistake they made in certifying incorrect & even fraudulent numbers in a process NOT approved by their State Legislatures (which it must be). Mike can send it back!

LOL Pence just gave him the finger by saying the Constitution does not grant him that power. This is a giant waste of time on everyone's part only to satisfy the whims of an idiot who is about to leave office in two weeks.

People are standing in line for 8 hours to take the vaccine.
Yeah, it's because the federal government didn't order enough and fucked it up as usual. Pfizer the manufacturer says they have lots of vaccines available and the US hasn't requested more. Unless you are a total partisan that falls on Trump bungling this AGAIN.

That's really the lengths they would have to go to? Isn't that what the utility companies do when you stop paying the bills?
I guess it still concerns me the lengths we're going to so that we don't make him look badly. If he refuses to leave, that requires some sort of public embarrassment to me.
And if he doesn't show up to the inauguration, what does that do? Are we all in agreement that is virtually no chance he'd show?
People keep saying that after January 20th, it's over. Is it really? Don't you remember how he behaved while Obama was in office...it'll be that times 10.
In 4 years, he'll almost be 80. I wonder if he thinks he'll never die. I don't see how he'd pull that off. It's not just about age, it's about his style. How can he possibly keep up the pace? When anger and revenge motivate you this much, I just wonder how far it will take him.
It's "over" in the sense that he's not fucking up the government and holding it hostage due to his whims or whatever. He is just a citizen and can say whatever he wants. Now currently, he is holding shit up with this refusing to concede and just making a sideshow of our country. The government is not really "functioning" right now and you have this mini war going on in within factions of the GOP.
Good point. He doesn't really live a healthy lifestyle (unlike say George W. Bush) and he's likely to run into problems healthwise.

Cruise is incredible really. This is his fifth decade where he's still near the top of the Hollywood food chain. A lot of his contemporaries have just flamed out (Depp) or just gotten really old (Arnold). Not a lot of people can say that in the history of the business.

Ted Cruz should be ashamed of himself for carrying the torch of this election fraud nonsense.
In 2016 Trump accused Cruz of rigging the primary and then insulted his wife. If Cruz believes Trump now, why didn't he believe him then?
Trump believes all elections are rigged.... including the elections he wins.
A lot of these people need to be voted out of office.
Dems should run someone better than Beto against Cruz.
Can't hardly believe they thought Beto is presidential material. Based on what?!?
I think they should also put in term limits at this point as well. Chuck Grassley is basically the Republican version of Diane Feinstein at this point, whatever he was tweeting about today--total embarrassment.
Not sure I believe it although it would reinforce his cowardice, supposedly a military plane that Trump has used will be flying to Scotland a day before the inauguration.
He's the ultimate pussy of the ages if he doesn't show up for the inauguration. If Carter can show up for Reagan's...and there was tension between those two....then this candy ass can show up too.
He's one of those big talk types but when it comes down to it he'll shrivel down. He always has been a petty bitch. No surprise there. There's a reason that Clinton, Bush, Obama all pretty much hate him and it has nothing to do with party affliation.
From what I've read, if he refuses to leave they will just cut off everything (internet, power etc..) and he will eventually move on back to wherever he chooses to.

I think your issues with COVID 19 are more political than on the science of it. Yes, you could catch it from going shopping but if you take precautions like avoiding large groups, you reduce the chances of catching it. Anti-science is denying that the Coronavirus exists or isn't as deadly and just pretending that life is normal when it isn't.
Both sides do it though. The "One side" gets demonized more because they seem to catch more infections.

It seems like theme parks like Disneyland and Disney World are jampacked with people today. And have been during various periods over the last week or so. You can’t tell me that the theory doesn’t work and have things like this happen.
And a lot of people traveled over the holidays via air travel too (back to almost pre-pandemic levels). I get why people are tired have COVID fatigue but there are still a shit ton of infections daily and deaths are close to 4,000 deaths a day. This is why it still matters and will go on until everyone is vaccinated and the death rate drops.
Oh did anyone read that awful story about the pharmacist who intentionally took the COVID vaccines out of a fridge and ruined them. Story gets worse, he vaccinated like 57 people with that useless vaccine. Totally selfish.

Time for some really obscure film reviews.
The Frontier--neo noir with Kelly Lynch; people end up double crossing each other and really the Southwest is the perfect backdrop for this definitely has a 70s feel to it. Acting isn't the best so it's also got a "B movie" vibe to it. But I liked it.
Der Fan: this is one listed as horror. It's more psychological thriller/coming of age movie. If you read the summary it's sounds like a typical "stalker" film but I think it's wrong to pigeonhole it as that. Also, has an 80s German new wave soundtrack.
On Kalifornia, I saw that this year at some point. Agreed Pitt is great. So is the rest of the cast. I thought Michelle Forbes stood out. Too bad she's more known as the "Big Salad" lady on Seinfeld.

Yesterday LA Congressman Luke Letlow died from Covid. He was only 41. On reddit he's getting a lot of shit for being anti-mask and anti-lockdown.
How are we supposed to feel about these people that mocked everything? That down played this all for political points and now they're dying?
I don't feel any sympathy for that Congressman. If you're dumb enough to go MONTHS of mask free campaigning with a respiratory virus ravaging your state, then don't be surprised if you catch said virus.
I have lots of sympathies for certain segments of the population who catch COVID. But for those who increase their chances and are almost asking to get it with their behavior, I have none.

McConnell is as awful as Trump. He controls the Senate and bills that would actually help ordinary citizens just die from his inaction. I think he's probably more detestable than Trump and really a bigger harm to the threat and nation.

Vader getting the shit kicked out of him by Orndorf in 93 must have destroyed his self esteem when it came to backstage politics.
He was never the same after that. Rolled over for all of Hogan's crap and of course the HBK fiasco.
I never understood why HBK and his clique were given so much power. Yeah he was good....but not to the point where he's running things.
It's too bad on Vader. One of my favorite feuds was the Cactus Jack-Vader feud in the early 90s. Ended up w/Foley getting amnesia and wandering in Cleveland.
I think Vince really liked HBK and there were some unsubstantiated rumors about that. But yeah, he got waaay too much power for a guy who bombed as a champion.
