^^ Thanks, yeah we have some hotties.
Anyway, I can't stand fans who get upset when they wear the AWAY teams jersey & get the "Asshole" chant?! It's only a chant, if they ready to fight over it that's another story. But if I go to NY or Dallas or wherever wearing an Eagles or Phillies or Flyers jersey, I'd EXPECT to get that chant!

I disagree. While Washington is having a good year, they are nowhere near the level that NE is at.
Well I was talking upset, not that Wash is actually better talent-wise. I'm just sick of it. Also I truly believe no team will ever go undefeated again. Every year a team goes 10-12 games without losing & all this hype starts up, then every year they lose. We'll see, talk to me at week 16.
Anyway, Jorge76 that's a good line from your friend. Funny stuff.

Pride & Glory you're right, because Yankee's & Mets fans are all so civil
CC why the harsh words for Philly? Because we booed a fan dressed up as a half-assed Santa Claus who was asked by mgmt to make a lame halftime appearance 40+ years ago during a 2-8 season or whatever? Or cause some stupid morning talk show host brought 30 morons up to NYC to boo them for not taking Ricky Pothead Williams over McNabb. Or cause we're not a bunch of crybaby Red Sox fans who whine every year that the Sox hadn't won a World Series in 86 seasons, meanwhile we've gone almost 100 seasons among 4 sports without winning (24 years, 4 teams).
This city has 2 sports talk radio stations, and one of the first 24 hour local sports TV network for 10 years now (The company later started this up in Chicago, Boston, San Fran & Balt). It's a tough city to play in, but play hard & you get mad respect. Jaworski, Bobby Clarke, Dr J are legends here. Even Mitch Williams (gave up a walk off homer to Joe Carter in World Series) does post game commentary and fans forgave him. Michael Irvin, Emmitt, & Aikman still gets booed (respectful now). Even Iverson earned mad respect for what he did. Lindros is questionable, because something wierd must have happened with him behind the scenes, that or Scott Stevens ended his career with that hit. I'm still not sure.
As to the OP, it's not a huge deal. I like reading surveys & rankings like this, to see where we fit in. This one seems pretty accurate overall. But it didn't make any news here, as I said before, the obesity survey a while back did.
BH enjoy your cheesesteak!! I haven't been to Pat's for a while now, but yeah they kick ass.

Well their sports fans are the worst, that's for sure.
Uhhhhh, WRONG!

Yeah it's a good list. Only problem I'd see with it is alot of those songs are 7-8 minutes long, especially on Disc 1, so you might have to cut even a few more off.
I like how the cd's switch at Sandman/Black Album. That was a real change for the band, and turning point. I'd like to see the GH reflect that.

^^ That's interesting how we perceive others by their posts. I'm sure it's partly accurate, partly innacurate.
Yeah, at times I can be painfully shy. Get me in a group of four or ten, I'd be the one who talks the least. One thing I could never do was ask a girl out. Uggghhhh so many missed opportunities there. Girls at work, bars, places I'd go while shopping for stuff. Just this past Friday I was at the gym which was completely empty & I thought of asking the girl working there if she had plans afterwards (since it was a Friday night), anyway I didn't. I chickened out, went home & ate a pizza & a few beers. Such is life.

Honestly I have pretty low self-esteem. I don't really want to get into exactly why & all that, it just is, and always has been. Sure there's times I feel like the man, but it's just weak & shallow & doesn't last. I always second guess myself & things I say. I'm actually pretty shy, but in the last few years I sometimes just choose to not talk to people. It comes off better that way for me to intentionally not talk to people, than be shy.
Did it affect my relationships, yes. I'm perenially single, feel awkward when I'm out on dates, and not sure I have the confidence to maintain a long, healthy, serious relationship.

I love that song. I thought it was a song by Sarah Mclachlan for years, and I could never find it. I heard it on a Halle Berry movie awhile back and made sure to watch the credits. Found out it was from Dido so I went and downloaded it.
Oddly enough that's pretty much how Eminem came into contact with that song. I remember seeing something on TV about a hip-hop prducer was watching a movie (probably same movie) and heard that song during the credits. He felt it would be a great backdrop to a hip-hop beat & created a sample using it. I think Eminems producer or Dre or someone heard the sample & liked it. The rest is history. Or "Stan".

Wahhhhhhhhhh Philadelphia was ranked last. Wahhhhhhhhhhh San Diego & Miami people are prettier than us, wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
These surveys are useless, and only self effacing people from higher ranked cities care about it ('Yeahhh, we're the most attractive'). The Most Overweight City survey did become a little bit of a big deal here, mainly because I'm not very surprised, there are some obese people around on a daily basis. But most/least attractive, that's just stupid & ignorant. I'd like to see how those cities rank in "shopping, food, culture, and cityscape". Aside from cubans there is no culture or cityscape in Miami. There's not really an economy, it's just old people & ex-New Yorkers who move down for the nicer weather.
I stay here not for the "unattractive" people (It's Philly, we love the underdog) but for the reasons it ranked high, affordability (7th, next big city, Chicago at 13) dining (5th) & mostly my friends & family are here. It's a hard working, blue collar, democratic city. You want nice resturants, a house for 200k or rent for $800, move here. You want to eat at Applebee's or Houlihans for a night out, or spend astromical amounts to live in San Diego with the pretty people, by all means do so. Enjoy your Pizza Hut.
Besides, I can eat one of these any time I feel like it.
muah!!

Yeah 5 in a row is nothing to sneeze at.
I'm sick of the whole NE thing. I seriously think Washington could pull an upset if too much talk is made about NE facing the Colts undefeated in two weeks. It happened back in 90 with SF & NYG facing each other in week 11. They both lost in week 10 & were 10-1 instead of 11-0 or something.
