With shows and a target audience like The Hills, Laguna Beach etc MTV has little desire for GnR. There isn't much demand from a audience of big sunglassed, flip-flop youth. MTV alone plays very little video's & their sister channels mostly leaves for rap. VH1 classic was mentioned, and Fuse. That isn't going to sell 2 million records.
To be fair, I think the OP was asking will GnR's first album have alot of sales out of curiousity, then the second one slip due to lessened interest. I think we all know it's useless right now to talk about GnR's 2nd album, when CD isn't in sight. If CD ever comes out, I think it'd sell similar to Linkin Parks last release sales-wise. I don't know exactly what it sold but I'd guess CD about 500,000-800,000. Maybe 1 mil.
I don't think changing the statistics for Gold, Platinum etc will be done. Instead tracking of (legal) downloads will be kept (1 million downloads etc)

Hard to believe that since 2005, Eli has found Burress the same amount as Peyton to Harrison. Tied for 1st since then.
Is that right?? I would have never guessed that.

Yeah, I have to admit I thought the Giants would tank it this year. A lame duck coach, young QB, veterans who are outspoken. It really could have gone either way. But they all stepped it up this year & fight. Also credit goes out to the coach for loosening it up a little this year & joking around with the players a little more. Not many people adapt like that, I always pictured Coughlin as pretty stubborn & a "My way or the Highway" type of guy.

How about Adrian Peterson for Minnesota?? That guys a horse right now. 20 carries for 220 yards? Him & Hestor were going at it yesterday. Peterson's gonna run away with the rookie of the year award if he keeps this up, no doubt.
Is Calvin Johnson still playing, he got hurt against PHI & I haven't heard his name since, not sure if he's still injured.

I would see The Beatles being more like Zeppelin and Page & Plant than The Rolling Stones. I don't think the Beatles would tour every 3 years charging $200/ticket. I think they might have toured once in the late 80's, and possibly again recently. Maybe a new album, like The Eagles, nothing earthshattering.
I think Lennon's solo work might have sounded a little bit like Phil Collins & Peter Gabriels 80's stuff (Sledgehammer, Air of the Night). Not exactly like that, but along those lines. Lennon probably would have done a solo acoustic album as well, a la Johnny Cash & Neil Diamond.
All speculation though, who knows.

I don't know what went on, whether radio has pushed them aside, or they passed on radio appearances & promo etc, and are just going thru the motions to get thru this tour. I dunno. Libertad is far better than the amount of (or lack of) attention it's gotten. You're right on alot of things though. SBQM was weak, and a waste. I think they should have opened with Last Fight, then Messeges, then another single, and come December/January, finish off with Gravedancer as a last single & goodbye song. For now at least.

Yeah reality TV has drama that is written or at least suggested by writers, they are credited as "Assistant Producers" or something. I know you watched it a bit but DTJ didn't The Two Coreys seem really scripted?! I saw 1 or 2 episodes & loked kinda fake.
Anyway, this would definitely impact February ratings. I wonder if Lost & 24 is affected? They don't start until January so I guess nothing is even written yet, yet alone filmed.

Yeah, as good as it is to see Dallas lose, it sucks seeing NE be this good. Dallas played pretty welll too, NE is just better (unstopable). Did they even punt the ball?? NE v. Indy should be epic. Although, I remember in I think it was 1990 NYG & SF were going undefeated like 9-0. They were meeting in week 11 & what happened, they both lost in week 10. Wouldn't be surprised if that happened again to these two.
Undefeated is a possibility with these 2, but I don't think it'll ever happen again. NE team is as close as it'll probably get though (Good team adding great free agents in Moss, Stallworth, & Walker), so if it does, this will probably be the year.

Me too, so far I think I got 31 points wrong. Cinci & Seattle losing killed me! 20+ points on those 2 games alone.

Does anyone else think "The Black Hole" folder should be moved down to the Park & Ride section?? Up in the ROV section it seems to be in more of a Guns N Roses/VR section.
Just a thought...
