It's not a political issue. Did you consider segregation a political issue? The history books will not be kind to the people who are turning this into a political issue when it's not.

It certainly is a political issue. You have some people who believe that anyone should be able to get married, and you have others who believe marriage is defined as a man and a woman.

I really dont want to get into a debate on politics on a GNR board, but segregation and gay marriage aren't even close to the same thing.

History will say otherwise. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Basic rights.

No one is saying that gay lifestyles should be outlawed. The issue is over the definition of "marriage". Most people arent opposed to civil unions.

And before anyone goes "Oh NYG82, he's a bigot!", I'm talking about my favorite guitarist speaking out on politically charged issues. I don't like hearing celebrities, period, getting involved in politics. But thats just me.

Its a damn shame that all the good ones are getting up there in age. There's not much out there today.

Hmmm... it has a Parental sticker on it. What songs would really make it qualify for that?

I guess the "masturbation" in CD and ofcourse the "fuck-" in Riad. Maybe they're stretching it because of the title of "Prostitute"?

Wow thats not much though. I just thought maybe something else is on some of these new songs.

The doom and gloom doesnt really suprise me. When Shacklers was announced, everyone was excited. Then when no promo came, alot of people thought Axl was pulling back again, and doom and gloom was all over the boards. Then we get the release date, new single, and everyone is excited. Now with little to no promo so far, many are down again.

I guess we are due for some excitement soon!
