I'm not saying the President can do anything to fix the economy, it's just the responsibility of the executive to release economic policies.  Good point on the economic advisors; the President is expected to have expert consultants in all fields.  But the general public still perceives that whatever is introduced and enacted is the primary responsibility of the President.  How can someone be responsible for policies they don't understand?  As mentioned, if this story gets picked up, it'll be a major blow to McCain's campaign.

That letter looks about 2 years too late.  For some reason I think this is a form letter and the "this year" either refers to 2006 or 2007.  Why would they say "no longer... release date for this year"?  It's January.  An entire album can be written, produced, and distributed by the end of the year.  Just saying....

Definitely, that's horrible.  It's used everywhere nowadays.  The worst thing is that guessing and estimating are two entirely different things.

Not me.  I like the band and it's a shame to see them go.  At the same time, the band has had its share of shit and controversy and it will be great for these guys to put it all behind them when all is said and done.  Plus, an STP reunion was inevitable anyway.

About time they got rid of him though... I was sick and tired of reading about it.  Although, it's always a happy day in Habland when the Leafs are falling apart.

Update on the all-star players; Malkin is taking Crosby's place, while Tim Thomas is filling in for Brodeur.  In the West, Stastny, Zetterberg, and Zubov are out, while Mike Ribeiro, Scott Niedermayer, and Corey Perry are in.  I'm not sure about the philosophy on this, as both the Devils and Avalanche will have no representation in the game.  And Scott Niedermayer should not be there.  He's only played a handful of games this season.

As for my Habs, they just laid a beating on the Bruins.  Sweet!
