I can't see a depression happening.  A prolonged recession, maybe, but a depression is pretty extreme when looking at the current situation.  The dirty 30s was a dark period in the world, but I don't think it would ever happen like that again.  We're far too developed now.  I mean, a stock market crash alone would be next to impossible.

Malkin was on fire in Montreal tonight.  Good grief.  Sid can take all the time he needs to come back.  If Crosby didn't get all the hype in Pittsburgh, Malkin would be able to step up more and take over games like he did tonight.

Pretty bad when you can't score a goal on Dany Sabourin though.

Crosby and Stastny likely won't make it to the all-star game.  Marc Savard is playing in place of Dany Heatley.  My guess is Malkin will take Crosby's place and Stastny will have to be replaced by an Av I guess (no other Avs are on the team), so it will probably be Hejduk.

The thing I don't get about The Blues is how the guitar solo has a happy mood, while the lyrics are supposed to be sad.  The music in The Blues almost sounds like it should go with an entirely different song or something.  In the end it has a very ironic effect.
