i agree with axlin
axl sounds like axl - get his ass in the studio and when he's done

take away the key

there's a problem when these songs sound better live

saints have a poor run defense and the vikings have the best running back in teh nfl. yet the coaches abandoned the run. the run was working, they were winning, and the saints started double teaming shianco. no sidney rice and harvin and favre missed training camp.common sense would tell you to keep running the ball, wouldn't it?

like faldor said, very odd.

saints vs. vikes.

saints running game looks great. vikes d looks better than ever.

favre's absence from training camp, along with coache's crazy decision to stop running the ball (which was working very well) in the second half cost the vikings the game.  vikes proved for a second time they are the better team, even in defeat.

i still get the sense that, if this is it and there is nothing on the horizon, it would be easier to call it quits.

giving axl the benefit of the doubt that he is not still doing guns just to spite slash and co. for leaving.....

no new music, no good press, trouble selling out shows, turmoil sorrounding you.....either he loves to perform after all, is broke, or still plans on doing good and new things.

been away for a while

is all of this "this is it" stemming from the tweet or did something new happen?

to me gnr IS the axl rose solo project. the world has known for a while slash isnt going to be there and yet they have still managed to book tours around the world and that is for 2 reasons: axl rose is a great performer and can still sing better than most and the classic songs will always be ingrained in rock culture.

we can argue about if and why they will never be huge again and we can continue to beat the dead horse of a reunion until we're blue in the face and we grow calluses on our fingers but axl rose has made it clear that he has no interst in that and until other countries around the world give up on gnr I think what we have seen the past 10 years is about what we will continue to get. will there be decline without a reunion or new fresh material? ofcourse but, expectations with the past in mind aside, gnr is still profiting from touring.

we're all here at the same capacity and noone is putting any money in axl's pocket by posting here. y this turned in to a axl nutswingers vs. "realists" thread is beyond me. why people are being called door mats is beyond me.

i don't think anyone is denying that axl treats his fans like crap. he has done so since the early 90's. some people just don't care.

i think people who don't care about gnr but hang out on a gnr board for the sake of the other posters, should be able to post consistently without accusing others of this and that, arguing, and name calling.

not big on conspiracy theories or if this is even an example of one.
especially when this behavior is par for the course but...........

now would be an excellent time to drop any album that has been rumored to exist.

i've been holding this theory back for a while knowing i'll probably be flamed for it.

lol

i doubt it's the case.
i'm just saying it would be an excellent time to utulize the free publicity.

It would also be a HUGH FU to the media for Axl.

I agree with buzz. Axl is the king of temper tantrums and this is toooo much of a conincidence. he could've been upset about anything but if I had to pick one thing i guess it was related to the late start backlash at the last show???ashba was probably with axl at the time and knew he was just temporarily losing his composure, and so he did all that he could really and tweeted an 'all is well sentiment. now that axl has calmed down the tour is back on.
