Barney Hefner died? He was fantastic. It's a shame, and cancer's a bad way to go. RIP.

The first update we get in months... is about a fucking motorcycle?
And it's not even in relation to Harley-Davidson...

I'm a Diet man myself, so I'm getting the brain rot along with half of these side effects!

I was at the Sabres game last night. It was awesome!! Really looking forward to the Sabres-Leafs game tonight now that both teams are off the mat.
Yeah, that was a hell of a way to end the skid last night. 10-1 with Stafford and Roy hat tricks. I can see the Sabres getting hot now after that one. The Pens will probably go on a big slide with Crosby out, so the position is there if they can climb in the standings.

However many he does, it will certainly be more than any of his ex-bandmates.

Every time people call for the Leafs to be gutted, they start winning... It's like the team loves controversy and feeds off of this. They've won 2 in a row now and are actually playing decent hockey.
Ramage got 4 years in jail. I think it's just. drunk drivers are idiots and should be punished to the fullest extent. My question, though, is who the fuck gets drunk at a funeral? Something was a little fishy about that case. He's appealing because questionable evidence was used (like a breathalizer taken without consent).
As for last night's highlights, anyone see that Rick Nash goal? Pretty sick stuff!

Maiden-influenced in their early days? Does that mean they turned more towards 80's pop metal later on?
They didn't really get like a poppy hair metal band. They turned more into a classic rock band. Almost progressive, but more mainstream. I'm not sure how to classify it, but a lot of Canadian bands were that way, like Prism, Chilliwack, and Trooper. I guess it was closer to the Arena rock, Boston-type sound of the 70s.

Honestly, I've never heard of them.
Yeah I don't think they were ever big in America. Their most well-known song is probably Magic Power; you probably remember that one (lyrics: I'm young, I'm wild, I'm free. Got the magic power of the music in me). Other more mainstream songs are Lay it on the Line, Somebody's Out There, and Tears in the Rain. My favourite, though, is Allied Forces, as their older stuff sound more Maiden-influenced.
Looks like I was right, though, when I said it's probably not even a well-known band.

Starting to work on the next record in April? And here we had them broken up already. Looks like they just want to keep making music.
