#821 Re: The Garden » Stream for new Xbox console reveal. » 697 weeks ago

-Games are tied to a console and a principal gamertag. Can take game round to a friends and play using your gamertag but if they wanted to play on their gamertag they would need to pay a reactivation fee that is equivalent to the cost of the game brand new. Basically no lending games to friends or preowned games on XBOX One.
-Console must be connected online when in use and has to be connected to the internet at least once every 24 hours to let you play games on it. Anyone without good wireless/has there console in a room that gets no signal and can't run a cable in can't own this. Terrible news for anyone living in areas with slow speeds.
-No backawards compatibility.

Well I guess I get a PS4 then, which is a shame because I don't like that controller but if one console allows preowned games and another doesn't well that's a dealbreaker.

This is good news. A tiger is more important than a new album and is better for the band in the long term. How some of you can be so shortsighted and not understand the benefits of Axl having a tiger is beyond me.

So Fandango is over. That was weird.

I listened to previews of Coheeds new albums on iTunes a few Weeks ago. Sounds good, but the post grunge stuff just isn't doing it for me lately.

The only Coheed song I've ever heard is Welcome Home. Should I look into more?

They're definitely worth a look, some of it is a bit eh and soundwise, both instrumentally and vocally, it can be a bit "emo-y" but they have a lot of new stuff. I'm really enjoying their new album currently. Listen to the opening two tracks of "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth", great opening to an album. Also The Suffering of "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV" is a great track.

well i disagree w/almost all that!

i hink it's past time we've had the next gen of consoles.

it's a matter of necessity rather than economics. look at  the top-end PCs & how they perform vs. current gen consoles & it's apparent the need for a new gen of consoles or a PC or the living room.

it's time. the time is ripe!

Technologically speaking it is time for new consoles. Economically it is not. There is no demand and a lot of people are content with using the current gen.

Also what's stupid is having Wade Barrett lose clean to Orton. Wade Barret is the fucking IC Champ and they'rebooking him for clean losss to a guy who's not a belt holder and won't be winning Elimination Chamber.... it makes no sense. All they're doing is devalueing the IC belt.

Barret losing clean to Orton almost every week is dumb. Really fucking dumb. He got a clean win over him a few weeks back. Anyone remember it? Nah, they didn't make a big deal of it or use it to elevate him, it's just something that happened and got forgotten about.

Also, Orton is definitely a contender for the chamber match. It's been rumoured for months that he's due for a heel turn.

Nice to see you change your mind on some of the talent on the roster. There is talent on the roster, even some of the guys down the card who only appear on Superstars and there is some talent in NXT. The problem is when they bring the talent up they always seem to ruin their push, usually to just put Cena over... again.

That's one thing you have to hand to McMahon, he was never afraid to push unknown talent.

Emphasis on was. Now he's terrified of actually following through on pushing new talent.

At this point though, it's way too late to turn back.  He's stuck with what has been built up the last decade plus and he has to deal with it.

I don't think he is. He could probably still have some Slash/Loaded level success if he announced that he is no longer continuing this version of Guns N' Roses and is gonna continue performing and releasing material as a solo artist.
