I've lost track in the last day or so - is there some speculation pitman is gone? Hadn't he written "hundreds" of song ideas with Axl? possible next slbum could be song ideas from Axl, Pitman and Tobias - with solos from Bumble.
Axl just released an album that took 14 years to make and you're already talking about the next album!? Now that's what I call being positive.

You haven't bought it yet? And before someone comes in and tells me I wanna see GNR fail. Let me make this clear. I do not wanna see Axl fail. Matter of fact I bought 2 copies on cd and one vinyl. So I did my part on making this a success.

If this album doesn't reach #1, even in a week with Kanye West... it'll be a huge disappointment for UMG.

We should just remove all logic when discussing Axl. It ain't gonna happen! Not even a tour announcement... Soon CD will be an after thought... That is how it works when you have no tour or videos....
Why announce a tour for CD? He toured the album 2 or 3 times already. He needs to release another record before touring. Or in his case he needs to start working on a new record and tour behind it a few times and then release the album 10 years later.

Maybe sitting tight is a smart idea. He knows Kayne West and The Killers have albums coming out this week. Maybe mid week special performance or TV spot or something will generate interest for the black Friday shoppers and a strong finish in sales for the first week. Will it happen? Doubtful.
If this album doesn't reach number 1. Axl will only have himself to blame. Now of course he'll be blaming someone else but he only has himself to blame.

Sometimes I need to be reminded our lead singer is a fuckup. I seriously wouldn't mind trying out for the 3rd Guitarist spot. Frankly I think I can improv better than Robin anyway.
If you do can you please convince Axl to rerelease CITR but with you instead of Finck? I don't know how good you are but I'm willing to bet you ain't as bad as Finck.
Axl does fuck up alot! He even fucked up the release of an album that he spent 14 years of his life working on it. Sad to see such talent wasted.

I too said it wouldn't happen, but the emotional GNR fan always feels their is a chance. I did see Fortus though tonight. Why is GNR such a fucking trainwreck?

In my review I said that CD came just behind AFD and UYI2 for me. BUT! I don't consider this a GNR record but more like an Axl Rose solo record. Just my point of view.
