Wrong thread, sorry.

He sounds great there, and he's a lot like EVH, in that when he plays, he smiles. Can't help it, he just does. I love that.

I'll keep checking- usually they put famous interviews up sometime after the show, which ends at 10AM.

Slash just got off WAAF in Boston, and literally said "We should play, we should play- I'd like to."

Then all but put it on Axl's people (NOT Axl) for why they aren't. I'll try to find audio later- not sure if they put it up on their website.

Make up and move on. CD2, please. Reunite some other time if you want.

I think VH should perform a GNR track. It would bring the madness full circle.

10-4 on that. But I'd take anything he's willing to put out, obviously.

I don't think it's as bad as it could've been. It's too bad though- it really isn't a viable live option for them. Really great song with classic guitars.

There needs to be a GNR-fest that has all 20ish members on board. GNR headlines, rotating through lineups, mixing and matching in whatever way achieves max-awesomeness. And for the opening acts- everyone gets to perform with whichever of their side/other projects they want.

#870 Re: The Sunset Strip » LA Guns » 738 weeks ago

I'm just mostly opposed to cover albums- they're almost always a sign of "we got nothing". A cover album has to be REALLY good to sway me from my default position.

And yeah, I was thinking of Velvet Revolver, too. But what I was getting at is how funny it would be to actually have dueling bands named GNR out there at the same time. It's so podunk that it's funny.
