Kill unhealthy and sick people: Literal Hitler!

Kill healthy babies in mothers womb: Progressive, caring, feminism!

I suspect that is why you can never have a debate about it. Everybody knows what is looming just under the surface. Once the vapor thin illusion of "not a life" disappears those 100 million babies killed in the last 50 years in America alone will start to gnaw on a few consciences. I mean damn, even Stalin had to work real hard to reach even a fraction of that number.

Death Becomes Her is an underrated gem from the 90s.

#873 Re: Guns N' Roses » GN'R 2021 Tour Thread » 246 weeks ago

Izzy doesn't make any sense. His departure was not wanting to be around drugs, the pressure of a big band and the many incidents with Axl. Nor has Axl kept much of a grudge towards him. Izzy leaving the band did not impact GN'R except for the writing aspect, not something Axl's ego cared about then or now.

Slash on the other hand left the band partly because he didn't want to play anything other than old school hard rock. He wanted to keep it real and not deal with all that computer shit. Him leaving ended GN'R as a band and turned world opinion against Axl. As we know Axl had a massive hard on for decades because of it.

He should do the test again, chances are it will come back negative.

"Are you sick?"

"No, I feel fine doctor"

"But the test!"

Americans can't ice cream is my conclusion, just like you can't chocolate. Hägen Dasz any day.

So called humanitarian war is one of the worst ideas ever conceived. A good war is a quick war. There's a limit to the damage you can do in a short period of time. Therefore the action should be as hard and as intense as possible. Machiavelli figured that out, Clausewitz did, but then suddenly governments and generals decided we should have 10-20 year "humanitarian" wars instead. How many casualties from the Iraq and Afghanistan adventure? At least a million. That's a lot of My Lais. But it's fine because we followed Amnesty regulations or whatever.

I can't believe so many of those songs are considered b-list. Some of those instrumentals are among the best things ever done under the GN'R name. I count 5 songs that could be high quality + hardschool which already is. Oklahoma a b-side? I don't think so. Seems rather Axl was saving the really big songs for a later release. Didn't he say Elvis was his favorite song from the material? Yet that and other big guns were not on CD. Why wouldn't they be if you want it to be a success?

#878 Re: Guns N' Roses » Axl Rose at his best » 246 weeks ago

I would have to agree with You're Crazy. The first song I would play to someone if I wanted to showcase Axl's voice.

Farm Aid and Rock in Rio 2 are somewhat unique. Still firmly rooted in the Appetite era but starting to slide into the stadium band with replacement players, backup singers and horns. Axl still kept his pants on and they still had the street attitude. It's a tight band, not the Axl and Slash show which it became.

its possible he was just confused and thought the poster was talking about absurd.

Don't think so, he said this afterwards (in bold):

I made my own "Absurd" shirts for my son and I at the Detroit show.

Shirts for Absurb and Hard School would be cool.

We'd really like a physical single with both songs though. Maybe a 7" vinyl single?

Vinyls for sure, physical as well.  Vinyls turn around times are super slow at the moment, but it's in the works. Sorry, this whole proper planning thing is new to me.

As somebody said, the end of an era. This decade is going to see a lot of big names bowing out and especially classic rock bands.

They'll definitely do the tour. Too much money involved to pull out. Wouldn't put it past Mick to continue even after that if Keith is still capable.
