HUGE loss to the music world.  He had a tough life, lots of accusations but in reality I always have believed he was just "off" in his thinking.  He never had the chance to grow mentally mature and it cost him his career.

Sad week, three American icons gone.  Ed, Farrah and Michael...
R.I.P.

My local news just confirmed he indeed died.

The biggest thing i'm looking forward too is, it being Zombie left to do his own thing.

I don't know, Zombie "left to do his own thing" could go either way.  Zombie's "own thing" seemed to be very apparent with the trailer trash background he threw into the retelling of Halloween.  It was easily the low point of the movie.

On the other hand the escape scene had its moments and it was overall a good addition.  I see it as this could go either way.  I am a bit concerned about some of his choices in storyline for the new movie but I will watch the movie with cautious optimism.

BTW, Halloween III was a good movie.  Had it not been tagged "Halloween III" and simply went with "Season of the Witch" it would have done much better.

I just had a custom case built for my H3 masks and it should be in soon.  You may appreciate this:

This will be the masks going in the case:

Sorry for the slight derailment of the thread.  To get back to RZ's H2 a bit here's the mask I have for the new movie:

The mask above represents how the mask will look at the beginning of the movie.

By the end of the movie I understand the mask will be hardly recognizeable.

So, I have a question for everyone.  If the mask is destroyed for all intent and we know Rob Zombie wants to call it quits after this movie...what happens next?

Whether it be a sequel by another director or not where can they go with this now?

Eminem - overrated crap

James, Death Magnetic isn't that good but compared to some of the musical turds it floats a little better is all. 16

Slinger, like PaSnow said earlier, isn't the entire ABC presentation commercial free? Regardless of what you're trying to sell, ABC isn't going to buy anything for that time slot.

This may be true CC I really don't know one way or the other on this one point.  If it isn't true it's even more disturbing.

My point is there should NEVER have been a situation where a broadcasting company would do this type of presentation without an opposing view in the first place.  FAR TOO MUCH is at stake with OUR money at a time that we simply do not have the means.

While I am totally against the idea I could "stomach" it respectfully (just as I did when I felt we put a poor choice in as president) if both sides were heard equally.  There shouldn't be any special favors coming from the private sector.  The American Public should hear both sides in full then make their collective decision.  At that point the will of the majority should be carried out.  It isn't always going to be the best decision but it would at least be a fair one.  Right now Obama is playing "dirty pool".

ABC is refusing to air paid ads during its White House health care presentation, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, including a paid-for alternative viewpoint!
If THIS doesnt concern you guys then I don't know what to say.

PaSnow Obama's approval ratings aren't going down due to this it is because people are getting over the "love buzz" and slowly seeing the facts.  Fact is Wall Street sees problems and worry once again due to the "fake money" solution of fixing the economy and housing markets.  People are not happy at the increased taxes he has imposed at a time when the ecoomy is suffering.  Add the ridiculous amount he wants to spend on health care at one of the worst possible times and approval ratings WILL go down.  He's not the messiah, he's just an inexperienced guy with perhaps good intentions but bad judgement.  He got in due to the thrill of change and putting our first black president in.  While these things within themselves are positives they do not warrant a decision to put a guy like this into the MOST POWERFUL POSITION IN THE WORLD.

I don't wish him failure by any means, anyone who would is insane (Rush Limbaugh is a moron due to his linear views).  What I do hope is he will listen to the voices of reason DESPITE what party they come from and stop some of these irrreversible insane ideas.  Irreversible in terms of being near impossible to take a hit like this at a time when our country is hurting.

Funny thing James said, it is so ridiculously obvious and simple it's damned near brilliant.  Medicaid could at least be monitored and help those who really indeed need it, sure there's going to be flaws and cracks in the system but it would be better than this very IMMODEST PROPOSAL!  Perhaps we should just take the J. Swift approach and eat the working class, that would free up plenty of funds for healthcare for everyone else.

We are a STEP away from total government censorship!  This little ABC/Obama pairing is even the more scarier when you read about what he would like to do in terms of what media outlets should or should not be able to say about the government.

People are bound to start waking up.

I only wish this were true.  The problem is many (not you PaSnow nor most of the people who can express their opposing views in an intelligent manner) people are sheep.  They are led by popular opinion and/or the media.  People only wake up in general once it is too late.

I hope I'm wrong James.

I guess we could try to make what's happening apparent to others right up until the point of it being irreversible but the result of our efforts would be the same.

I've posted quite a few times in this thread so I think in the interest of good judgement and respect to the other members it's time for me to say I've said enough.  Telling a view is fine, shoving it down other's throats only alienates.

In the end people will believe what ever makes them comfortable.

Ditto.

Give me some new tracks and I'm on it, otherwise...no thanks.

You're probably right PaSnow, "Trent Reznor project" or something like that will probably be the future of his namesake.

Strat, you're correct.  For the most part he's a one man show already with hired guns to complete his vision.

Downliner/Neemo...good move guys. I was a bit "on the fence" about it as Robin will now be freed up but this works better in this section imo as well.
