#901 Re: The Garden » Man Dies After Getting Stuck in Girlfriend’s Cat Door » 929 weeks ago
I know this sounds cruel but I had to make myself not laugh. There are many "low brow" jokes just begging to come out here but I'll take the high road and not let them surface.
There's the whole issue of the back door... not to mention pussy being a slang for cat. We could make way too many jokes about this guys ultimate demise. In the end, a lesson should be learned... Don't try to fit in a hole that's too small.

he finished the season with the Jays, I believe. TSN.ca speculates it was an aneurysm.

Oh, goodie! I have two division rivalries I can fight with here every day.
I wish Julien slugged the Habs coaches the other night. That was fun watching them bicker back and forth on the benches.
I think Carbo could've taken him. We need coaches to fight in this league!

This is the problem with outsourcing. In recent years, major US companies have thrived on using cheap labour in other countries to gain a competitive advantage. Now that these other countries are developing into economic powerhouses big American business is being threatened. Add that to the fact that while outsourcing labour has increased unemployment rates at home and ultimately slowed the growth of the US's GDP and it causes a big problem with the nation's economy. Things like exchange rates are the result of recent declines in the economy and with falling monetary value, foreign investors can no longer realize gains on greenback transactions. If major foreign investors like China pull out, the greenback will lose substantial value.
#906 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Slash and Duff have discussed doing a GNR reunion show » 929 weeks ago
Have reunions always been such a hot topic as they are right now? With the Eagles releasing an album, Zeppelin doing a gig, Van Halen on a tour, Motley Crue getting together for a cup of tea last year, and Pink Floyd doing a reunion show last year, reunions have been the big thing in the music industry as of late. I guess since record sales are no longer a means of making profit, bands are talking reunion to possibly make more money. I haven't seen this much talk about reunions since the cast of Seinfeld got together on Oprah.

cool man
and that goes for anyone on this board who is of legal drinking/gaming age. I miss getting to visit vegas and staying on the strip.
I'll keep that in mind. When I move out west, Vegas is going to be one of my main vacation getaways.

I watched Gone Baby Gone last week. Despite being directed by Ben Affleck, the movie was amazing. Morgan Freeman, Casey Affleck, and Ed Harris were great in it. Definitely the best movie I've seen this year.

Maybe if Buffalo had some scoring power, they'd be in a different position this year.
And Boston shit the bed a few nights ago against my Habbies... 7-4
I was happy to see Rask beat the Leafs last night though. Talk about embarrassment for JFJ. The dude should be tarred and feathered and ran out of Toronto.
