Your probably right. Then again..I rememeber Slash doing Snakepit while he waited for GNR to re-group...and we know how that ended

Yeah i wonder how he pulled that off. I mean my like of VR and STP asside...the guy is a repeat offender when it comes to substance problems, I was expecting them to throw the book at him.

I don't see why its bad for GNR to put out this kind of thing. I agree its lame not to update about CD - but thats kinda a different issue to me. Like the way I see it - as GNR fans - most of us would have some interest (all be it minor or passing) in anyone/anything connected to GNR - and Del's story was the inspiration for a GNR video and he is a friend of the band - so that means the kinda people who are fans on myspace may have a passing or casual interest in what he says. Same reason we all clicked this thread to see what it was. No big deal.

I was thinking about this. And to me it sounds like BS cos the guy in question seems to be having so much fun with it. Like all the refrences to song titles/lyrics/ speaking in code etc
Like I get that he wouldnt wannna go like "GNR - CD DOWNLOAD HERE" if he wants to avoid liabitity. But why the need for such elaborate ineuendo and stuff. Like we all know what we are waitng for and he could easily have implied an unload of that, or something that triggers the band to release it - with far less spy talk - the reason I feel he didn't is cos he's getting a rush from all the secrecy. Which makes me question if its fake.
Still i guess it could be a real leak, and a guy ego tripping to be the leaker.
Anyway...i'm sure someone will be kind enough to keep us updated if anything comes of this!

So is he going to leak the perfect crime what was the illusions footage no one has seen or is he going to leak that video that surfaced a year ago that was pulled by that company?
Are you talking about that clip from the doco that had Axl showing up at the venue and playing some of jungle? Or somethign else?

Umm...if the guys from Rage Against the Machine were at Cornell's level musically then I think Slash and Duff have it covered. I dig rage..some cool riffs and stuff, but Slash can play guitar a LOT better than anyone in that band.

I agree. But i also think that people who were friends when young can sometimes go back to being friends afer an extended gap/fight - as getting older makes people want to bury the hatched and remember the good times. The anger of youth fades.
