1917. Good, not great. The "single-take" thing is nice, but the story is just flat. Saving Private Ryan did a similar premise much better.

I saw it too and had similar thoughts. Its real good, but I feel SPR & Black Hawk Down are better overall war movies among others. Still good, single take starts to wane a bit. Makes the entire storyline a bit thin in hindsight. Also mustve played tricks somehow with timing.

Prolly most shocking death in a long time. Yeah, he was great. Hated by alot of us in the 'older' generation who favored Jordan and old school.  I admit, I was never a huge fan, when he started winding it down I ultimately gave him credit as 'Top 10' level player, but still didn't like him much.

Gotta admit tho, he was lethal on the court. When it comes to Jordan, there was none better. But Kobe was lethal.

Finally saw it. Thought it was great. Didnt realize JJ directed this one till the end credits  Wasnt it supposed to be a different director? Did JJ grab the reigns after TLJ  went south?

Ill need to rewatch it, but i recall TLJ went nowhere in the storyline. ROS exposed this alot. Shouldve kept Laura Dern and let Leia die in 8, and Benetio Del Toro seemed to have added nothing.

It was a good film.

Didn't know kfc had an app, i havent eaten there in gosh, 15 years i bet. Actually pretty funny tho, a kfc app.

Flagg didnt know u were engaged. Congrats. How was tinder? I always felt too old for it, possibly it diversified over the years. I did match & craigslist years ago and just seemed like constant dinner dates, me buying a rando a meal. Gave up and hardly dated or looked the last 10ish years, although some of that i was in a funk financially & with work.

Right. Killing Soleimani didn't solve a problem. Iran can still attack an embassy, it can still attack a military base. Killing him didnt stop that. I wouldn't say it escalated it, but fortunately Iran took a high road. Pompeo, he's full of shit, so was Dick Cheney & Rumsfeld
