I always laugh at nuGNR fans who call Slash a sell-out...

To be fair, I don't think it's fair to call anyone a sell-out.  They're all in the business to make money/art and they can do that with whomever they please.  I just think it's funny when the same people who consider Slash a sell-out who wants his hands in every pie are calling Fortus a hero.  That's like a person who uses a black pot deciding not to use a black kettle because it's black.  tongue

As a Canadian business student, I need more time to address all the issues in this thread (as there are many), but I'll just dip on the NAFTA issue for now.  James, NAFTA was enacted in 1992, while US/Canadian Free Trade was enacted in 1990.  Both happened before Clinton's time; they go back to Bush Sr. days.

People eat it here.  Blood pudding is the same as black pudding I think.  We have white stuff here too with similar ingredients.  Whoever decided to eat stuff from the digestive tracts of other animals?

Its doomsday. No offense to canadians, but the dollar should have always been worth more.

Thanks Bush and Clinton.

Of course your dollar should be worth more.  Your economy is a lot bigger than ours.  I wouldn't but the blame on any president, and certainly not Clinton.  When he was in charge, our dollar was at an all time low.

We're at an all time high of US$1.10 today.  There was a time during the US recession in the 70s when ours was higher as well.  Look what happened in the 80s and 90s.  Don't expect this to last.

Forsberg (who might also retire) could be one of the best players of all time if it wasn't for the injuries.  He's the total package.  In that class, he's at the top of the list.

Although I hate to say it, Sundin is up there as well.  He's been solid and has been steadily productive his entire career.  Jagr's there as well, but the whole Capitals fiasco is forgettable.  Joe Sakic had a few off years, like Shanahan, and that ranks them lower, in my opinion.  If the twilight of LeClair's career wasn't so poor, he'd be up there as well.  Lindros doesn't rank in my opinion.  He had two good years and that was it.

Brodeur and Hasek would easily be the best players to emerge in the 90s (Brodeur over Hasek in my opinion), but they're both goalies and if we have to exclude them we will.

For defensemen, I'd have to pop in Niedermayer and Lidstrom.
