When I looked at this yesterday morning, there were only a few pages.  Anyway, I believe you SG.  And it's nice to know that Adler will be part of a reunion.

Repped to Cramer for the funny google screen shot with comments.

Voted for the title track as it was my least favorite one.  And it really pales in comparison to the earlier demos which had more bite.

Fuck me...2 weeks in a row Andre johnson throws up a goose egg. ..I bench him and he Scores 21 points

I had the reverse happen, if you want to call it that. I picked up Donte Moncrief a few weeks back as he had sailed past Johnson as the #2 WR for Indy. So I started him for the 1st time this week at the flex because CJ Anderson is still struggling mightily and looks like he's lost the starting job. Well, Moncrief had 1 catch for 3 yards.

Guess I should have seen it coming with Andre Johnson returning to Houston. He was destined for a big game. But he was so bad the first 4 games, it was hard to imagine. Not sure what to expect of him going forward. Will that game get him going or was it just a one time revenge type performance?

I benched Moncrief this week once I heard Hasslebeck was starting again.  Andrew Luck is the one screwing me over with his injuries and shitty play.  I'm forced to start Derek Carr for the second straight week.

At least my RB situation seems to have cleared up, I can start Gurley on a weekly basis now that Fisher is finally giving him the bulk of the carries in the STL backfield.

On the downside, Jimmy Graham has been a total POS and I had to pick up another TE as backup in case he continues to suck.

On Andre Johnson, I wouldn't expect that to continue and think it was a revenge type game.

Speaking of IRS, I never really liked it when the album was first released, but now that I've listened to the album a few times it's grown on me and is one of my favorites.

Still can't believe Better is around and hasn't been eliminated.  Therefore, it gets my vote.

I was going to vote Sorry after Prostitute was gone but after listening to Better really loud a couple nights ago I have to vote for it til it's gone. The cut and paste purgatory this album is in rears it's ugliest head on this song. It's uncomfortable to listen to and certain parts make me cringe.  Doesn't matter how catchy us hardcore fans thought it was in 2006....the album version had zero chance on the radio.

The Pitman fart noises are particularly annoying on Better.  At least Sorry is kinda interesting musically to me and doesn't really make me cringe or give me a headache, despite the bad lyrics.

On Madagascar, I wish they just got rid of the spoken dialogue parts in the middle of the song as I find them distracting and unnecessary.

Street of Dreams/The Blues is similar to Catcher to me as they just botched up the production on that song.

No clue how accurate this is but this could have scuttled the reunion in 2005/2006:

However, according to Classic Rock magazine, via a GNR insider, recent attempts were indeed made by Axl Rose to reform the original band for shows at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, and then again for the Download Festival at Donnington Park.  The magazine also reported that both were allegedly to be filmed and released on DVD with an accompanying live album to mark the 20th anniversary of the band forming.  As the story goes, all parties were interested until the fine print of the contracts were examined.  Apparently, despite the shows and the potential earning power of the subsequent CD/DVD sales, in agreeing to the terms and conditions, each member then agrees that all rights to the entire Guns N' Roses back catalogue would henceforth transfer to Axl.

I heard about this years ago but I forget who the actual source was, could have been Halfin but I'm not sure and doubt it.

Prostitute. Sorry will probably go this round, then Prostitute.

Who has been listening to the album lately? Since this started I have forced myself to listen to it every couple days. I mean literally forced. 16 While I did warm up to a couple tracks, this album is not a pleasurable listening experience. A few days ago while listening to it I only made it to Better. Had to turn it off and put on Elastica.

I cant believe anybody thought it was a good idea to wrap this up in cellophane and put it on shelves. All the leaks are light years above this thing.  We go from the leaks which weren't mixed properly to THIS? Where's the middle ground?

Only been listening because we have this elimination.  And I agree this isn't really something I want to listen anytime in the near future.  In this case, sometimes less is more.  There's just too much going on in these songs and it overwhelms the listener.

Well that and theme wise a lot of songs cover the same issue/ground.  Prostitute and TWAT go over the same idea.

Voting for Prostitute this time as I listened to this and just came away bored.  There is really no "fire" in this song and I found it really mellow this time.

A few songs I found not as bad as I remembered (Street of Dreams for one) but I still liked the demos more.

Music is subjective of course and I wont slam anyone for liking certain songs but it amazes me that anyone could like the music being played on CITR and think it flows with his singing.

I'm shocked that OMG has lasted this long but I think its by default. Its sneakily climbing up the ladder because there's a handful of songs on CD that hardcore fans cant stand and they'll get rid of those before pulling the trigger on OMG. I know that as soon as a couple more get thrown out of this my sights are on OMG.

You're right on about the music on CITR.  It absolutely doesn't flow with the vocals at all.  It's obvious all the guitar parts were added in and the song suffers greatly because of that.  It just isn't organic, free flowing or natural.

On OMG, I listened to it the other day and came away unimpressed.  Honestly, the only parts I like are the chorus and maybe the guitar solo.

#949 Re: The Garden » 2015 NFL & Fantasy Football » 556 weeks ago

I won last week despite having Andrew Luck crap out a bad game against the Bills and having 2 WR combine for 8 points.

My RB's this year like last year are very suspect.

Oh well, at least the Titans won and destroyed the Bucs in Tampa.

Another one for CITR.  Briefly considered voting for Shacklers but that one actually flows better as a song.  The guitars in CITR are never in sync with the vocals.  And I'd like to know which genius thought it was a really good idea to layer the shitty Bumblefoot solo over Axl's singing of the last verse of the song.  There's some really good (maybe great) vocal work there but it's buried over that solo.
