No....the ship sailed long ago on any post-GNR career for Axl. It is what it is. He wasted too many years on Chinese...and then wasted too many years with that final CD lineup.
I said it many years ago....had he played his cards right in his late 30s-late 40s he could've set himself up to be this generations Rod Stewart.
IF Guns does release an album, I think Axl could have a post career as basically a pianist with some songs. Maybe an album of just him & piano, then a song for a movie soundtrack, then maybe an album with a small band around him backing him. Maybe a vault album. Something along those lines, like an Elton John. Rod Stewarts a fairly good analogy.
I agree he wasted too much time on CD esp post 2008/2009. Should've cut the cord once Robin left. Not saying he was the glue, just, it was over.

Agreed. Its just another show. The original reunion announcement was 10X what this concert is.

PCprolly a short NR mixed in.
It’s going to be a full(ish) set. 90-120
Mins.
In that case see essentially the entire NITL tour setlust. That's about it, it's another show.
It isn't the halftime show. Metallica played it in SF couple years ago I think. Wasn't a huge TV thing, not even sure it aired.

We need a sports analogy people. Touchdown, Field Goal, probably Punt isn’t an option.
Mark Sanchez butt fumble.
Jim Marshall wrong way touchdown.
Wide right
Ricky Watters saying "For who? For what," and Philly fans not forgetting decades later.

I’m fascinated by what it was about the songs that Axl recorded vocals for and the ones that (at this point in time) were left instrumental. Like, what was it about Scraped that made him want to record vocals on vs. Quick Song, Soul Monster (later recorded), Prom Violence etc.
That's a very interesting question.
One thought, analysis paralasis, or being a 'perfectionist' thinking the lyrics he had written weren't up to snuff, as to say Estranged, November Rain, or Breakdown.
Scraped tho, yeah, like wtf.

Yeah, I dropped Netflix in January, coincidentally about 2 weeks before they hiked their prices. Thought I'd go back in the summer, as I liked Stranger Things & Glow, but never signed up.
It's ok, its good for Star Wars & Marvel, doesn't have too much else (Tron, Carribean, Avatar). Not many other movies tho tbh. The Mandalorian is good, a good changeup from Netflix to keep you busy a few months.

Anyone else sign up for it?
I think it's alright, not enough real live shows & movies. Rumors were they wanted it geared towards kids, might explain why no X Files. I was hoping for that plus Miramax or Spieberg/Dreamworks films in the catalog.
Other than that its really good. All the Star Wars (no Last Jedi yet & I don't think Solo, but they'll add them before I rewatch the others), alot of Marvel, most I've not seen, Pirates of the Carribean, Muppets, and then all the Snow Whites, Cinderellas, Bambi.
The Mandalorians is really good, to me its kinda like Rogue One, both in its style & shooting, but also if someone not a major fan, I'd say it's not a must see. If you have younger kids tho the channels worth it imho. 6.99/mo

In fairness the following Trump close associates have been convicted:
Flynn
Manafort
Gates
Cohen
Stone
Popadopolous
which is troubling in itself. And consider Muellers comments that 'The Feds did not seek to indict trump', since they couldn't charge him as he's a sitting president. Likely, he's guilty too.

Non-partisan question, or, maybe partisan from a left wing viewpoint: Do you think Pelosi & the Dems would've been better off waiting for the Stone verdict, and potential documents to come out?
I mean, (and I'm not trying to say HAHAHA Trump is guilty, but would it make a better case for possible impeachment or tarnishing Trumps name & status), it definitely shows people, very close to him, worked thru the campaign with Russia & Wikileaks. Kinda like the 2+2 with Sondland, Trump spoke highly of Wikileaks & asked them & Russia to find those emails, AND Stone worked with Russia &Wikileaks.
Also, could Pelosi & Dems have combined these two instances into one impeachment inquiry? It would've keep the storyline the same as the original, debinking the Hannity narrative of 'Here Dems go again with another witchhunt they can't find anything about" as it's kinda the same witchhunt.
I'm not knocking her, in fairness she didn't just randomly go after him, this is a pretty good case of it, (personally I think he should be impeached AND I think if Bolton testifies, get ready), however she waited & held off AOC & Tliab, but when an opportunity struck she went for the jugular. It's just, the Stone thing seems highly serious yet has gone mostly unspoken about.
