Consistency Mitch. The left can't call for Comey's head in November and be upset he's gone in may.

The outrage isn't from his firing but the timing. He wasn't fired after the election shenanigans but only when it's clear there's an investigation on Trump's ties to Russia. I won't be stunned if the leaks really start coming now.

It's a tough one to figure out. Obviously related to yesterdays hearings in part, but why so sudden & obvious?

Why? Circumstances are much different. Now it appears Trump is under investigation and now that he has the power to, he fires comey inexplicably.

The Trump alibi for dismissal is the mistakes Comey made yesterday in regards to Clinton/Uma etc.
