All I can say...and I've said this multiple times in this thread...nothing is going to change. So expect more of this...and now they've even created a scored card.

How many dead?
How many injured?

Can you beat the last score?

I don't think Americans care enough about each other to solve this...

We continue to elect people who refuse to do anything about any of it. I don't claim to know what the right thing to do is...but jesus christ do something...ANYTHING. All anyone cares about are taxes...."lower my taxes but do not reduce my services." That's all anyone can thin, about.

It's not going to change because there's no solution.  You'll never take the guns away...it literally will never happen.  If they try, there will be a civil war and I say that as someone that has never owned a gun and has no plans to.  The bad guys have guns.  The bad guys will continue to get guns.  All "gun control" does is keep them out of the hands of the good citizens.  There are too many out there on the streets now that it would take decades to even make a dent if you stopped all gun production today in the entire world.  Gun control is like airport security...it's about feelings rather than actual results.

Maybe you're right...maybe there is no solution...

This guy had it made...had everything he ever wanted...and he still felt the need to do this...wtf?

Really, everything people are saying they want in regards to gun control wouldn't prevent any of these shootings. The black market has exploded. Now, they sell all kinds of illegal shit at gun shows, like the equipment to modify weapons into machine guns, so that does need to be regulated.

I have no issue with denying rapists, psychos, wife beaters, pedophiles, criminals and terrorists from having a gun. That's not too much to ask. Once you demand any kind of ban, people begin stock piling weapons which eventually leads to the black market sells.

You’re right, but it’s illegal to own the conversion parts and a firearm. And even more illegal to assemble them. I think the gun show idea is incredibly exaggerated, just like the online sales.

I used to buy weed off the dark web and looked at the weapons section to see what was there. It’s virtually empty and what was on there was just hand guns. Nothing gets fed attention faster than weapons or kiddie porn. All the markets I’m aware of ban the sale of weapons to delay the FBI making them the target.

I went to a gun show for the first time in a decade last year, and 80% of the tables were dealers meaning you had to pass the same background check you do in the store. PA also requires a transfer check for all hand guns. Of course people can violate the law, but that’s what the black market is. Each state is different, but the notion people are buying hand guns or assault rifles through gun shows to circumvent background checks in any significant number is just not supported by the numbers.

While this is tragic, let’s not forget that the majority of firearm deaths in this country are gang related.

Even repealing the 2nd amendment won’t end this, as the gang violence that accounts for most deaths already consists of illegally owned firearms. And they’re certainly not going to be handing their guns over. Not to mention while gun deaths declined in the UK and Australia, their violent crime rates and property crime rates increased. Guns are a deterrent no matter how you look at it.

Yeah, its kind of disgusting the response to this. I'm hearing a lot about karma, getting what they deserve, and evil white men....it feels really exploitive to use this tragedy to push an agenda using people they despised and ridiculed before the shooting. It's sick, twisted and these people should not be taken seriously.

There was just a shooting near me, of a black guy walking into a white church to killl white people and shot it up.....have you seen it reported like an average shooting?

I can tell you from personal experience, the gun shows are a playground for illegal guns and pieces, like i mentioned. I know that for a fact. There's no reason they can't have oversight.

I have to ask what you’re basing this on?  What illlegal Guns did you see?  Like I said, I didn’t go to one in a decade, but I was the proverbial “gun nut” in my teens into my 20s and lived at them. I never once saw an illegal firearm. But maybe you saw things I haven’t.

Police have been present at every show I’ve ever been to.

But I’m certainly not opposed to enforcing a federal background check for private sales too.
