I thought Monsters was pretty solid. Would've worked on ChiDem, but now I'd rather just have a straight ahead rock song from them.

As for The General... perhaps the saddest thing, is finding out that during the years when GN'R fans were being starved of new music and also being denied a reunion, that this is what he was doing in the studio.

the funny thing is, the music on all the leaks and village sessions is really great
the weak link on most of the songs is axls lyrics and voice

This. Yes! I remember saying this at Rock In Rio 2001! I waited up to watch, already decided I hated the new band (cuz Slash), and by the end of the show I thought that Axl had been the weak link in the performance.

I bet you hated the next 20 years because Rio 2001 was new GNR's peak.

Oh I don't discount for a moment that there's more stuff out there.. as you and I have had various discussions about - I just know I haven't seen any direct empirical evidence of that at this point.

Either you're lying now or you were lying to me three years ago then.

How is he lying?

That he's seen or heard no evidence of other songs.

Either he's lying now, or he's telling the truth and he lied to me in the past.

Why did you just repeat yourself
I wanted you to explain it better with evidence or examples of why you think he is lying

Give examples of how you think he lied?

You do understand he could think there is other stuff out there but has no evidence to back up that claim.

Its like I have no evidence there are aliens but I think aliens are out there.

For the most part, yes.
There are parts of Chinese that I absolutely love, and sure Axl has had a few moments where he seems to have regained his voice, but mostly its just been downhill. I don't understand why GNR do all they can to kill their own momentum, and how Axl looks so happy to be essentially still touring the Illusion albums 30 years down the line.

Same goes with the MTV VMAS, the band sounded amazing but Axl was the weak link.

that is simple, he just looks at his bank account and sees the millions he is making but putting little to no effort into anything but touring and half ass singing the songs.

Btw Axl S has always been honest and a friend to the community in the interactions I've had with him.

Of what was said in that group as im sure others can also.

Friendly fire Dave.
Now Dave is good guy and so is Axl S
You both want the same things.
