Re: Who's your dream replacement for Robin?

Most people here would agree that Robin will likely not return to GN'R, and we know his commitment to NIN will almost certainly go through 08, and possibly deep into 09. So if Axl had the itch (aka financial need) to tour again with his new Guns N' Roses, who would you want to replace him?

Some rules when making your pick(s):
- You can't fire Ron or Richard. You must be picking a third person to play with them.
- Not Slash.

And while I won't stop people from saying Buckethead, as a favor to me, name another name as well if possible.

I decided to start this topic while listening to Living Colour's Collideoscope, and thinking 'wow, Vernon Reid can kick some fucking ass.'

So, I guess Reid would be a dream pick for me, to see him playing Robin's and Slash's stuff live, or adding his own sound into those songs and solos.

Saw John 5 with Zombie and he was amazing.  Plus, his version of Jungle is pretty good as well.

If not Buckethead... then John 5.

John 5 can play in many different styles.  Seeing him in concert proved that.  He played Sweet Home Alabama.  That guy is another guitar player who can play many different styles.
