Are you sure you saw Baz open in 93. Skid Row opened in 91, but I thought the 06 tour was the next time for Baz to open.
Nah the australian leg of the UYI tour was Rose Tattoo, Skid Row and GNR - melbourne show was Monday 1st Feburary 1993 - i know cos it kicked some serious ass and i was there - still have my ticket!!

as much as i hate nickleback and they would probably not be willing to "open" for gnr, a tour with them would bring gnr definite exposure to a larger and more diverse crowd.
despite the fact that i loathe nickleback.

well we'll see....the only reason i'm guessing that is because they're battling tomorrow night at the viper room for a vh1 tv show about rock band 2. i'll be there. so will warrior priestess. we'll let you guys know what happens.
