Anyone who thinks Axl isn't burying the legacy needs to take a breath of fresh air and look at this list again. GNR used to always make the top 10(and usually top 3) of all the lists, including MTV/VH1 lists. Now they aren't even cracking the top 100.

As far as the list goes, its a pretty spot on accurate portayal of the 90's. GNR should be on there of course, and Backstreet Boys, although HUGE for a couple years, don't deserve that high of a spot. Soundgarden's Outshined deserved a spot, although Black Hole Sun was massive in 94. I would also have put the Spice Girls a bit higher.

Cream of the crop right there. That would make a decent box set.

The product is being diluted. Its not really a surprise that GNR is finally starting to drop off these lists.

This isn't a knock against current GNR members. Its just a fact that the legacy is being tainted, and its not the fault of anyone who joined post 96.

They've made every other list out there when it comes to stuff like this.   I think it depends on the channel or mag that does these lists too.  This year GNR has been on Fuse's favorite list.

Maybe the person who made the list, is an angry, jaded fan..LOL

They used to come in top 3 on this identical list. I used to watch this shit on VH1 and MTV. Its the same thing that comes out every year or so, but their stock is dropping. U2 has replaced them as the competition for Teen Spirit.

VH1 does this kind of list every few months, this probably just a random new one, I'm sure they (Guns N' Roses) have made this specific list before several times.

It's nothing. A few of those songs were on a worst of list. They don't put much thought into these things anymore.
