Quentin Tarantino, who was handpicked by Axl to direct the insanely epic video for "Madagascar." Universal balked at Tarantino's proposed budget and director's fee, but as Axl had already started production someone needed to foot the bill. Pete Waterman. He accepted the job and the project began to take shape. All the songs were rwowrked to a 3 and a half minute maximum length and a touch of catchiness was added to it all. They also wrote a new song called " I should be so unlucky"
